The Butcher GRID GRAVITY 2Bliss Ready T9 is the perfect choice for trail and gravity…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
The Butcher GRID GRAVITY 2Bliss Ready T9 is the perfect choice for trail and gravity riders. Ramped and siped center tread blocks provide strong traction and accurate steering, while the shoulder knobs offer a continuous biting edge for railing through fast corners. The GRID GRAVITY casing compliments gravity riding with an all-new 2-ply construction for cornering stability and flat protection. Building on this solid base, the high-damping T9 GRIPTON® compound rebounds slowly to grip and stick to the ground for total traction and control.

These are awesome tires that have great grip. They definitely wear fast like they have great grip
I love these tyres! I have these on my Levo, they are perfect for ebikes. I've never lost traction with these, and the sidewall support is confidence inspiring.
Love these tires, they have a nice soft compound that grips the trails and provides superior traction. The DH sidewalls are also very durable when the trails get rough.
Riding in the winter in coastal BC, it can be tricky to find a tire with enough traction on slippery rocks and under braking that doesn't feel like a boat anchor on the way up. The Butcher T9 Grid Gravity feels lighter and rolls faster than what Maxxis offers and seems to grip even better, especially on edge. This is my new go-to rear tire in the winter.
Use these on my kenevo 👍
The Butcher is pretty versatile. In the Spring here in Tahoe I’ll run one up front. Once it’s super loose I’ll put one on the back wheel with a Cannibal up front. Great grip and durability
Best tire on the market even super grippy with loose sand on top of Rock thanks specialized
Delivers what it promises.
The T9 compound lugs have a sense of memory to them and are slow to rebound back to their static position. I find that this provides increased predictability in the corners and through rough terrain. The gravity casing is durable but yet responsive. My favorite tire which I run both front and rear.
running a T7 Grid Trail on my Stumpy and T9 Grid Gravity on my Enduro. Max grip good rolling!
Good tire. Compound has good grip and longevity.
This tire seems to be universal meaning for use on front or rear. It is very tough and can be run as low as 20 psi. It's only drawback is weight, but if your trails are full of rock gardens and/or roots..than this would be a good choice.
Good tires at a sensible price
I was looking for a new set of tires after I'd ordered a half-dozen Maxxis DHF and Dissector DD tires and after installing finding out they had a wobble. Bought a Butcher and Eliminator on a recommendation and I will probably never go back. Rode them and bought 4 more of each when they wear out. The Butcher and Eliminator DH T9 compound is incredibly grippy, the sidewall is super stiff and the tread pattern feels fast. Would love to see these in a 2.5 for Butcher and a 2.4 for the Eliminator in the future!
I’ve been running Maxxis for years, but the quality has deteriorated lately so I thought I’d give these a try. So far they are just as good in regards to traction and better price. They are easy to install and are holding air better than Maxxis tires. I can’t give them 5 stars yet as I’ve not had them long enough to test the durability, but early impressions are looking like 5 star.
Great tread, amazing grip, strong compound, easy to install. The only thing is the 2.3 tire runs pretty big, I ran 2.5 maxxis before and this is very similar if not the same size. All in all a great tire.
I just changed to these tires on two Specialized mountain bikes and all can say WOW! All around performance AAA+++
The T9 tires are some of the best I have ever used. I especially like them on slick rock and hardpack.
The new butcher T9 has excellent grip and the gravity casing holds up to the gnar. Stoked on these tires!
these are excellent tires. the delivery was fast. great company. super gummy rubber and casing is tough. I've been using it for rocky downhills and enduro. sticks like glue. as good or better than anything from the other brands but I believe specialized has the best rubber for sure.
I bought this for my trail bike (stump jumper 27.5) and wasn't a fan after the first ride. This one felt a little too heavy and slow, especially on the climbing. I wasn't able to return it to my LBS but after more research, I slapped it on my DH bike with hopes it'll be right for that one. Based on the steeper descents and chunkier conditions, I think it'll do the trick. Been riding Specialized tires for 16 years now so I went with the Butcher Trail T7 on the Stumpy and I couldn't be any happier with that front tire. Glad I got it right and can't wait for the bike parks to open up this summer to spin that T9.
The Butcher has been a killer tire. Yo be honest I first tried the 2.6 and hated it. It’s to big for me personally. I decided to give the 2.3 a shot. It’s been really good on the decomposed granite here in Tahoe and off the hill in various mixes of dirt. I myself prefer the Gravity casing for its durability. I feel for me it’s worth a small weight penalty. So if you’re looking for a really great all around tire, look no further.
These tyres are so much better than the old one. The new compound is super grippy and I have this on the front and the durability is excellent for a softer tyre, (eliminator on back) This gravity casing really dampens the trail buzz and makes the bike even more silent and feels planted. No stress about pinch flats and actually was still easy to fit on the rim unlike maxis dh casing! Will use again for sure.
Best tire ever. I feel in total control with this tire. I've had all the tires that are out there and these are the best hands down.
I live in Marin County California. In the summer and late fall the trails are very loose and dusty. The new T9 Butcher is the best tire I have ever used in these conditions by far !
