Look up. If you're lucky enough to be outside, you'll have the sun shining brightly down upon you. Now touch the top of your head. Yes, this susceptible portion of your body is being constantly berated by that sun above. Over time, this could lead to some issues, which is why we developed our Deflect™ UV Cycling Cap. It's not a substitution for sunscreen, per say, but it will help combat the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.

Now, it's important to note that we didn't make this cap out of tinfoil, meaning that it's not a cure-all bit of snake oil. It does, however, serve up a UV 50+ level of protection, which is more than your hair or helmet are offering. Add to this the obvious benefit of the fine-as-silk VaporRize™ fabric blocking sweat from trickling down into your eyes, plus the fact that this lightweight material is actually remarkably cooling, and you're looking at a smart solution to your summer riding. Stay protected, stay seen.

  • Even finer than silk, VaporRize™ microdenier fabric delivers unparalleled moisture transfer and UV protection.

  • Deflect™ UV 50+ protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays.

  • Fabric Content: 100% Polyester

Great hat, but a little tight

The hat fits on my head, but my head circumference is 23", at the high end of the recommended size range for M. The elastic makes it a little tight on my head. Otherwise, the hat performs very well - blocks the brightness between the top of my shades and the rim of the helmet, controls sweat to a reasonable degree, and most importantly it shades my bald head from the sun! I wish white L was available.

Amazing little hat, wicks away

Amazing little hat, wicks away sweat and it’s non-intrusive with the helmet! It’s perfect for people like me who have helmet hair issues haha. Someone said M fits most but I actually had to go a size up. For reference I have an average head shape and wear between M & L in Motorcycle helmets for those of you that ride motorcycles. M fits but L in this hat fits better with my cycling helmet. I have one in every color.

I was using a Buff

I was using a Buff for sweat management, but I needed a visor to shield the sun from my eyes. This cap serves both purposes, and is very comfortable. A medium size fits perfectly and will for most people.

The Best Cycling Cap!

I have tried a few different cycling caps and their visors would flap about from the wind impact. Not this cap. The visor is sturdy, non-intrusive and blocks the sun from my eyes. I love that it is light weight, breathable and has UV protection to protect my hair from sun damage. I will be buying a couple more for spares.

Best cap i've found

Best cap I've found. I don't leave home without a cap under my helmet to protect from the sun. A lot of caps fit goofy, or have a flimsy bill that flops down in front of my eyes when i pick up speed. This hat is the best.

OK

If you have hair, the fabric is slippery and kinds pulls off. BUT it stays in place under a helmet and protects you from the sun. Most people would probably fit a Medium.
