Runs small fo sho. Size up. 1/4 length zip makes trail side bio a chore, pockets at waist line makes sure whatever you put in pinned in but a pita to use, only 2 pockets, chami is passable but barely, zipper on pocket is coarse and runs rough will not last. I only ride in sale items clothing but if this came up again i'd probably pass.
ordered 36, I usually wear 34 to 36 size jeans, so ordered 36 but it is more like 34 maybe 35. Padded Insert has size L label Love the quality and design so much so ordering another two this time in size 38, hoping it will be true size 36.
I'm a size 32 / 34 waist. I have countless pants and shorts in those sized to prove it. I ordered these in a 34... and they were so tight I could barely even put them on. So... I recommend ordering at least one size larger than you normally wear.
Great light fabric that would really benefit from another zippered pocket.
Got em on sale, really couldn’t be happier. Only improvement would be adding one more small zippered pocket, otherwise they’re perfect. I’m usually between 30-32” waists, got these in 32” and they cinch down nicely to fit very comfortably. Highly recommend. Oh, one last thing: please ship stickers with products.
Love these shorts, everything fits perfectly. The liner is removable and connects at the hips. The chamois is more comfortable than most and I appreciate the quality.
This is my third paid in rotation, great for breathability and pockets are perfectly placed
Love them, nice and comfortable, great for biking or around town. I was nervous about pocket size after reviews, but plenty of room for a smaller iphone. Like the button snap for liner.
I love the button closure and adjustable waist. I've had shorts with snaps that won't stay closed. The length is great and the material seems very durable. In my opinion, specialized makes the best chamois in the business. That was a big selling point for me. I really like the color too.
High quality. Fit great, a tad on the small size but still super comfortable. The removable liner is great and provides solid padding & support where it's needed.
These shorts have a nice adjustable fit, a great length, and lightweight fabric that keeps my husband cool. Also the pad inside is removable, which is nice for washing or if he wants to just wear the shorts for hiking. The shorts are well made with strong stitching.
Great fitting and comfortable!
I really like my trail shorts, but missing my cargo pockets to stash my phone etc. So I ordered these Trail "Cargo" shorts and was very dissapointed with the vertical zippered cargo pockets that were too small for a phone or wallet, barely big enough to hold a Cliff bar or 2. Not at all like my Fox Ranger Utility shorts as I expected them to be. Hopefully they will get re designed for next year with real zippered cargo pockets
Love them bought 3 pair!
Good fit and quality
Decent riding shorts although sometimes getting into them is a bit of a process as the liner tends to get twisted up inside the shorts when you take them off and toss them into a drawer. However, once on the fit is true to size (same as my Levi 501 jeans) although the length of the pant legs is too long on me, reaching well below my knees. Very comfy to ride in.
I’m a 31” waist but tend to fit in 32” waist pants and shorts. I ordered the 32” and they feel a little big compared to other 32” shorts but I’m able to make them fit with the tabs but they’re pulled all the way tight. The liners fit good not too loose for me. If you’re a 31” waist I’d recommend trying the 30” and 32”.
Good quality, look great, would buy again.
Great price, great fit, perfect fabric, pockets are spot on - they nailed it! Bought a second pair.
First pair of MTB shorts. Very happy with the fit and the padding. No complaints at all.
These shorts are great. Plenary of stretch to make them comfortable. Plenty of length for protection. They fit true to size (36).
Perfect fit, great look! Highly recommend this lined short!
Great shorts at a good price when on sale. I'm 5'7" with a 31" waist and ended up ordering a size 32". The shorts fit good with a little tightening of the side tabs, unfortunately the inners are too big. Sit fine while pedalling but move around alot while out of the saddle. Pity as the quality and comfort seems amazing!
They are great
Love them
Sent them back, they were too large
Been wearing these a few weeks now. Most comfortable mountain biking shorts I’ve ever had. They look sharp too.
Fit was right on.
My wife and I purchased Turbo Levo SL's this year and couldn't be happier with the purchase. We went with the SL to save weight and we didn't figure we would need the power or range of the non-SL. Great bikes! Eric & Betsy
These are the best in the business I highly recommend them.
6’4”…215lbs…35 inch shorts/pants waist size. My experience is that the size chart is correct. I called and spoke to a rep and told him my dimensions and he recommended I go with the 36 even though the size chart called out a 34 for me. However it’s too big and I have way too much excess waist material. I wish I would’ve gotten the 34. I just got my new Diverge finally, and couldn’t wait to ride it so I couldn’t send these back! Like a lot of other reviewers have said they are very long. I’m 6’4” and the size 36 goes down to my kneecap. They dry really really fast which is great since I’m down in southeast Texas where it’s very humid…the liner is adequate and the chamois is in the right location for me. It is also very lightweight and wicks Sweat quickly. The one small zipper pocket is great for a car key and ID and the large pocket on the right side is good if you carry a cell phone I guess. By the way, the Diverge kicks ass!!
Awesome and the liners are worth the $$.
About 50 miles on them so far, spread between three rides. No complaints, and the padding is great.
Really like the shorts and bibs that come with. They are a little more on the baggy side than should be. A bit more fitted would be nice.
I bought the medium size- I am 6’1”, 160#, 32” waist. The shorts extend just to my knees. So when I am on my bike the length is perfect. The zipper left front pocket is large enough to hold my IPhone securely. The inner short which contains the chamois is held in with two snaps which makes it convenient to remove so you can wash them separately. The one button fly eliminates the need for a cumbersome zipper.
Quality MTB shorts, run true to size & look great.
Great fit and comfortable
Well made! Quality short. I’m 5’9” and they go to my knees but I’m ok with that!
Fits true to size but would’ve preferred a full zipper for ease of putting on and taking off. Zippered pockets are a nice safety touch gif phone etc.
First ride out, the material makes a ton of noise against my seat (a distracting squeaking sound). I have a bunch of shorts in this style from other companies and this is the only pair that I have an issue with. I could just be my seat choice (WTB Volt) but not sure.
I shortened the shorts 2-3 inches so they are not below the knees when riding.
Nice riding shorts. Unbelievably breathable for a pair of riding shorts. Just a tad too long if your short and wear size large. I’m 5’8”
Runs small, or I'm getting fat.
Way too expensive!
Really nice bike shorts. I am a first year mountain biker and have purchased several brands of shorts to start my adventure. These are my go to shorts. They are light and fit tailored but not snug. They do not catch on any parts of the bike. The color even matches my Specialized bike for a great look.
Great fit and comfort
Best fitting shorts I’ve ever worn And especially the way they work with the power saddle
Best padded shorts out there. They are so comfortable
These padded chamois and shorts made it feel like I never broke my pelvis before. These really are taking my rides to a new level. Without having to rely on a numbing agent to take care of it. I went on a mountain ride just as I bought them. Fit tru or smaller to size. I was a 40 waist and it fits a 39 probably. But the strong button keeps it in place. And I adjusted the straps on the side and bam. Perfect 40 fit. Overall, hope these keep up the help as I felt today. Outstanding.
After years of wearing other shorts, mostly Fox, these are by far the best and most comfortable MTB shorts I've ever worn. I didn't need any new shorts but I wanted to try something new; I was so impressed, I purchased two more pair. The fabric is extremely comfortable yet strong and tear/rip resistant. A single metal button instead of a flimsy snap or goofy buckle that is a pain to undo. The waist band can be adjusted easily and on the fly by pulling on two hidden draw cords. Two deep front pockets, one with a zipper so you don't lose small items; both pockets can hold your phone. The liner is the most comfortable of any I've ever worn plus it can be detached or reattached with two loops that snap close. The quality, stitching, comfort and attention to details makes these shorts hands down my new favorites. I do own other Specialized clothing items and I must say I am very pleased with the quality and comfort.
