Lower density foam is softer and helps increase energy management inside the helmet, something we learned while developing our pro downhill helmet, the Dissident II. To us, every rider - big and small - deserves the same level of helmet innovation and effort.
The Shuffle 2 LED comes equipped with an integrated LED tail light for increased visibility. The LED tail light seamlessly blends with the helmet's design, allowing kids to revel in the joy of discovery while parents rest assured that their child is always within sight.
Increasing the amount of any foam inside of a helmet grows the overall size. But for Shuffle 2 LED, our addition of 18% more low density foam only grew the helmet by 5%. Even with more foam, Shuffle 2 still maintains a light weight without obstructing the view, ensuring your littlest riders can move freely and eye up their next obstacle.

Because children’s heads are softer and still growing, using low density foam - and more of it - was the outcome of this partnership.
DATA DRIVEN INNOVATION: Coming out of our KTH and Mips partnership, the Shuffle 2 LED had increased the amount of low density foam inside by 18%, only growing the overall size of the helmet by 5%.
