Most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned

While I definitely prefer bibs, these are amazingly comfortable and well constructed cycling shorts. Well done!

Love these shorts—have two pair.

I think these are great biking shorts—I just bought a second pair! They are nicely contoured and have a sleek fit that flatters my thighs and backside. The wide waistband is comfy, and the elastic on the legs keeps them from shifting. The chamois is cushy enough, though I wish it were situated a bit farther forward, as my lady parts need a little more cushioning now that I'm getting older. I'm 5'7", around 150 lbs, and my RBX shorts are size M.

Shiny and tight things

Wanted to love. 5’2 -130. Thighs are tights around the elastic to the point of leaving a mark ten minutes in. Super shiny fabric. Maybe wear under something but not out-right in the wild.

Love them. I've tried a few other brands and have not been happy, but these are just the right fit and are very comfortable. I like that the padding is thickest where it needs to be (rear/sit bones) and not so bulky (intrusive) towards the front.

OMG Sooo uncomfortable

I have been riding bikes and wearing cycling shorts for over 30 years. These are easily the most uncomfortable shorts I have ever worn. Went out for a short ride after I received them, and they were so uncomfortable that after the ride and washing them, I tossed them in my cycling drawer, figuring I just lost $42 bucks. That was two months ago. I pulled them out today and was looking at them and realized the cushioned pad does not extend the whole way towards the crotch...so that explains why it was so uncomfortable. Don't know if my pair was defective or not....I wish I would have realized this earlier, as I might have been able to return them, even though I had already worn them.

Best chamois

Hands down the be best chamois I’ve found. I have worn LG, Gore, Castelli, Rapha, Terry, Cycology, and Shimano. The padding is a little wider so provides cushion for the inner seat bone which most lack. The shorts themselves are pretty good. A little more straight cut from waist to hip than I’ve had but good none the less. I have them in 2 lengths and they’re my favorites especially for long distance. Highly recommend!

Too small

I purchased these and they were sooo ridiculously tight..They cut off my circulation around my thigh and gave me a rash because of rubbing. I generally am always a size medium, but I have very muscular thighs. I’m having a problem finding any biking shorts in women’s that will fit properly around the waist but not be too small around the thigh area. If I were to upsized to a large, the shorts would possibly fit me around the side, but then they would be too big around the waist. I guess. In the meantime, I will keep using men’s biking shorts.

Holy Grail Bike Shorts

These are the perfect bike shorts for any distance of riding. They are so comfortable. I have issues with other bikes shorts on longer rides with my sit bones starting to hurt. I never have that issue with these. Also length is a personal preference and not a reason to low star these. Try them on and see if the length works for you. Personally I feel like they could be a shorter length for me but still love them none the less.

I have been wearing Womens Specialized RBX shorts for years. I would buy no other. Well…..things have changed. The last pair of riding shorts I purchased from Specialized were much too short. Being a 60-something female, I prefer my previous 9” inseam much better. These had to go back!

I have one pair and like them - a lot! Disappointed the size choices are limited. Are they getting rid of this style? I hope not. I was specifically looking to buy more but I'm not super small not extra large.

Nice shorts at a good price

5,4 140lbs Medium fit perfectly I ride anywhere from 3-5 hours 4 times a week. I tend to average between 13-15 mph on these solo rides. What I like about these shorts is the form fitting pad and the material/leg gripper. Some short manufacturers have shifted to a ""free moving pad"" style which I find bunch up and create problems. The RBX shorts pad and material provide a ""stay put"" feel. The leg gripper band is wide and snug without strangling my quads. I have wider sit bones and the pad feels wide enough. The material gives enough to put on easily and then disappears, no bunching or wandering. The downside is I found the chamois a bit thin after several hours. I realize these are the lower end short so not really a complaint just perhaps I have found the limit for the design. If you ride 3 hours or less no worries. I haven't tried the top of the line SL Bib shorts but I like these enough to think about putting out the money for them.
