Thoughts?

Light is simple and bright but misleading on mounting on handle bar since it doesn't fit in the center of the stem.

Good concept, but…….

If you have an out front head unit, these don’t really work.

I have four of these now!

Great looking design. small, very light weight , and super bright. Excellent visibility . I love how simple it is to use, and that once you choose a setting, it returns to that setting the next time you turn it on. Very long battery life. My go-to front light for all of my day rides. Works well as a steady headlight as well for short rides. I do two to four rides a week, 100+ miles total, and this light on flash will go three weeks without a charge.

Minus one star because strap broke!

I LOVED this light - owned for about 6 months. Very low profile on handlebars. BUT....upon stretching it to mount it, the mounting strap ripped! It ripped on the end, so I now stretch is significantly so I can get it on the next "rung" - but disappointing that it ripped so easily and after only 6 months. I love the light otherwise. Hopefully the next "rung" doesn't rip or I'm out of luck.

Great "visibility" light overall. Very

Great "visibility" light overall. Very bright and doesn't take up much real estate wherever I put it on my bike. All said, I would have liked it to swivel -- thus, if you affix it horizontally, the light has to stay horizontal; similarly, if you put it on vertically, it has to stay vertical. The light itself plugs straight into a port -- no cords! However, plugging the light into a port to charge is a "little" strategic as you have to remove the rubber casing on the one end which will expose the charging prong [thingy] and then, ahh, plug it into a port. But overall, great buy.

I’m using two of these

I’m using two of these lights on my Sl6 Tarmac. Small easy to fit so as they are not intrusive, ( rear light with swat seat mount, front with under stem mount). Keeps motorists aware of my presence. If you’re going to use the under stem mount, add a bit of paint protection as the light can contact the paint work.

Excellent Blinking Light for Daytime Use

I primarily use the Stix Elite 2 front headlight on the disco setting for daytime rides. The battery life is excellent. It goes all day with no issues; and the disco setting works well to get the attention of motorists, which reduces my chances of becoming road kill. The footprint is small, the light weighs next to nothing, and the optional D-shaped strap works great on wider aero handlebars. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because the charging method via the exposed USB connector is a little fiddly. Other than that, I dig it! I own two.

New & Improved model

I had the original Stix Elite. For around 3 years. Finally wouldn't hold a charge. This Elite 2 is brighter and longer run time. Love the flash patterns. I have it mounted to the front of my helmet. The only thing I didn't like was it only came with a handlebar mount. My previous light came with a velcro strip so it was easy to mount to my helmet. Fortunately I am able to use the previous mount.

Definitely would buy again

I ride a lot in early mornings and the Stix lights are all I use. They are light weight, easily attached and don't interfere with my other electronics. The Elite Headlight is bright, long lasting and is attached to my bike so I can change function as daylight approaches where as the helmet lights are heavy and difficult to adjust. They charge up fast and are easily attached so I can get on the road fast ........Great product.....best I've used

This is a great general purpose headlight

I purchased the Stix Elite 2 as a general purpose headlight two months age and so far it has met all my needs. Easy to install, charges quickly without the need of additional USB cables and its waterproof having survived two very wet rides. The strobes are very visible during the day and the headlight mode provides enough light to navigate home when a ride runs late. This should not be considered your main light for night rides.

Loving it so far

Bought the Elite 2 headlight and taillight. This review is for the headlight but everything in here goes for the taillight as well. Overall, I've been really happy with it after about 4 weeks with it. They have a lot of different flashing modes that allow you to balance brightness and battery life. I use them mostly to be seen by cars, but in a pinch I'll use them at night for lighting up the road. They're not super bright, it's OK, but if I rode at night every day I'd want something brighter. The design is innovative. I love that I can just pop them off the bike and stick them right into a USB slot without needing a cord. Another nice touch - when you turn them off, an LED glows green if the battery is fine, red if it's low. Nice reminder at the end of your ride if it needs a charge.
