It would never have occurred to me that a tire was NOT 2Bliss ready. Well these are not. So, not only do I have egg on my face, but also a really good set of spare tires that need a tube.

Some of my favorites

Love these tyres. One of my favorite upgrades for my clincher wheels. Grip well in the corners and also I rarely have any issue with punctures (unless I roll over something that would’ve punctured any tire, regardless of strength).

This is my second pair

This is my second pair of Specialized Turbo Pro 24x700 tires for my Torelli Corsa Strada road bike. The first pair lasted a little less than a year, or 5,000+ miles and (I”m jinxing myself) no flats of mostly rural riding. The new pair run as smoothly as the first after a couple hundred miles. Also, I bought this pair direct from the company website because my local Specialized dealer did not have my size. Purchase process was a breeze, I must say. The tires arrived promptly and installing the tires on my rims was a snap. Overall, you can’t find a happier customer.

Fast but Fragile

Going to these tires from my previous brand was an amazing change - fast, fast, fast! But, that speed comes with a cost - less than 100 miles on the rear and a piece of flint went right through the center of the tread and caused a flat. So just be aware of the trade off on durability.

I’m a big fan of

I’m a big fan of the Turbo Pro tires. I’ve been experimenting with a few other brands/makes over past year+ and keep coming back to the Turbo Pro. In my mind it’s got the right balance between longevity and suppleness. Other “high end” options may be just SLIGHTLY more supple but they don’t last and the tradeoff is just not worth it. As with other brands/makes, this tire is a bear to get on/off a wide carbon rim. I started using the talced Specialized tubes with it and that actually helped a lot.

Good - but different

Tarmac SL6 expert on Reynolds AR58X's, I have always run Turbo cottons(28s), but recently grabbed these after a crash for a quick fix(also 28s). They were a great tire, but I feel they may have changed slightly with their width. SL6 Rim brake max tire clearance is 28 mil, so when on my bike, I found them rubbing, which is odd because they never used to do so... Still a great tire

Feels like a tubular

I have been riding tubulars and clinchers (Michelins) and these S works are great so much better then the Michelin tires I had been using. First they are more durable with 1500 miles and no flats and no sidewall problems like with the Michelins. They feel so supple like a tubular but so much smoother. They do not wear out near as fast like the Michelin tires did so overall I'm very satisfied.

Excellent Tires

I've used these tires on and off over the years. I try other tires and always end up coming back to these. They roll great, are easy to get on/off and seem as durable or better than the competition. Plus, I think they look great! I've raced in these and also ride on rough chip-seal. No issues. And they perform well cornering. No reason to look elsewhere for me.

New favorite tire.

I got the turbo cotton when I received my SL7 so I could see how they were. I liked them well enough but I did suffer from constant punctures. When it was time to buy new tires, I Installed a pair of The S-works turbo. Long story short, these tires feel great and roll fast. I have yet to flat so they are a winner!

Increased to 26C, amazing

Pointless tire, flats galore

Bought these because I have used the Turbo Pro as a training tire and the shop decided to carry these instead of the pro (despite Spesh website saying they had the pros in stock) for an extra 20 bucks. They’re terrible; wear and puncture resistance is worse than race only open tubulars like the Vittoria Corsa and Challenge Strada but they corner and ride the same as the Turbo Pro which is a meh tire anyways.

I would not buy this tire

I bought S Works Turbo tires for my road bike and set up for tubeless on my carbon fiber rims. After a month I had two flats and a gash in rear my tire. I replaced the rear tire with the gash and had the same issue after less than 100 miles. Three tires later I am very disappointed with the durability of these tires.

My preferred tire

I've been riding consistently for over 20 years and been through a lot of tires many of them good. Just in the past 5 years I've been primarily using these S-works. I feel confident in fast downhills and corners, never a failure. I've even ridden them in limited gravel roads and never had a puncture. I like the ride of the 24s and get a couple thousand miles by rotating them. Definitely a great tire to depend on when it counts.

I would buy these again

I use the 26mm with Roval CL50 wheels. This is the 3rd set and they seem very good tyres to me although I only ride them in the dry. They last a season and seem to crack over the wear zone at the end of their life.

Favorite Clincher Tire

In my opinion, these tires are phenomenal. They have an incredibly supple ride quality and make the bike ride smoother. Much smoother than a Conti 5k and even the Vittoria Corsas. Better still, they are much easier to mount, requiring just finger pressure. They are also remarkably durable; I have had multiple sets and only one puncture due to hitting a rock at 30mph. The downside to these tires - the sidewall appears to wear quickly with lots of gaps and spaces. However this doesn't seem to affect ride quality and puncture resistance; they just look very aged.

NOT TL Ready

These came on my new S-Works Turbo Creo, and on receiving the bike I went to convert them to tubeless & discovered that they are NOT tubeless ready. What a huge disappointment on such an amazing bike! So I yanked them off and immediately installed some nice Pirelli P-Zero Race TLR... no looking back. Be nice if a tire like this was actually tubeless-ready. Disappointing I had to spend another $160 on tires after spending almost $14,000 on a bike!

Best Tire I have Ridden

I am running the 26mm version and I find them easy to mount, ride very comfortably, and are fast and light. Using latex tubes, the ride is very close to tubulars as I used to train and race on tubulars exclusivly back in the 70's. Also the tires are resilent to flats (at least with latex tubes) but prone to tread wear.

a very good tire

i have been cycling for some time, really for at least sixty years.i am fortunate and still ride a bunch. i beleave i have ridden every brand of tires over the years. there are some advantages of some tires over another. you cannot blame the tire for its failure if the air pressure is not checked every time you ride them. i am a 90 psi in the back and 80 in the front. sqeezing the tire is not enough. unfortunately where i do most of my riding in the warmer months the roads are really awful near the shoulder. these tires endure this well and i have had no flats attributed to potholes, etc. i have flatted with the current set that i rode 3500 miles on and that would be attributed to tube issues. .if you do flat these tires are a breeze to change. incredibly supple. the tires themsleves from a performance point of view are excellent. durable tread. descents over 40mph just excellent. road grip when standing is very good. the sound of them is awesome.

Fantastic tires

These are the best riding tires I have put on my bike. I have read all the reviews and don't understand how some people have trouble with these tires. I have over 1,800 miles on them and have had no issues so far. They ride fantastic, very supple and responsive. If you check your air pressure before every ride, you will have no issues. My bike and body weight combined are 195 pounds, I put 81 in the rear and 72 in the front. Based on the wear indicators I should get over 3,000 miles on these tires. Will most definitely purchase again.

Lovely race tire for smooth roads with out debris

I think they could be the smoothest tire I have ridden. I have been using the 28s. The one main concern is the side wall is about as resilient as cling wrap, honestly a sharp stick will tear it to bits. My last set lasted only 120km but I wasn't using them for racing so my fault. Stick to smooth and debris free roads and they are lovely.

I love these tires

I have run road tubeless for many years; 10 to be exact. When I bought my Tarmac Pro last year, I figured I'd run the tires ragged and then swap on my old S-Works Turbo Tubeless set. Well, I'm almost 6,000km on the bike and...I haven't done that yet. I'm still running the original set. How's that, you ask? Well, I'm pretty particular. I 'm 175lbs and run my tires at 85psi and 80psi, back and front respectively. I have also run latex tubes. In all those kilometers, I have had two flats, both of which would have sealed with sealant in my old setup. However, the ease of taking these off my Roval CL50 wheels is ridiculous and the swaps were completed in only a matter of minutes. Compare that to my...uh...situation in 2018 when my S-Works Turbo Tubeless tire shredded at the bead and it was so tight that I could NOT get the tire off my Reynolds Assault rim (which ended up taking two mechanics and metal levers to remove). That said, I'm happy to do a quick tube change so as to never have to make the ""call of shame"" again (literally, the only time I've ever done so in 15 years of cycling). Perhaps I'm a careful rider, perhaps it's the pressures I run...I have no idea, but these tires have worn amazingly-well for me. They are also incredibly light and super fast. After I decided I wasn't going to go back to tubeless, I bought a 2nd set; they are still in my parts bin, brand new. I'll be swapping them out at the 6,000km mark.

Gripton Turbo...the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

My SW Roubaix came with Gripton Tubless tires. I have riden about 1500 miles on the bike. Replaced the first tire (rear) at about 1100 miles with a Gripton Turbo at a little over $80 bucks a pop. So far I have riden about 400 miles since then and here is what I have experienced in those 400 miles. Two punctures within a three ride span, replaced back tire with the second Turbo I bought and that one lasted about 5 rides before it punctured. Luckily, they all sealed enough to ride home but would no longer except a pressure more than 30-40 psi before failure. I love the feel and the ride of these tires and the ease of mounting and inflating them! In that regard I think they are awesome! Though, as far as the Gripton Turbo and its obvious lack of durability or at least its ability to resist punctures I could only recommend these to someone who doesn't mind replacing tires on a regular basis. It's interesting because the original front tire is still going strong and I've had no issues with it, just added more sealant and thats it.

Awful. Three flats and a third tire purchase in two weeks.

I have a Tarmac, which came with Pro tires. Those lasted about a year before I decided to replace after detecting some dry rot. I upgraded to the S-works. I got a flat in a few days, then a pinch flat after trying to replace the tube. Had to call a friend. I took the wheel to my LBS, they said I needed to purchase another new tire, as that one was compromised. After a few more rides, I got another flat in my other wheel - followed by same thing - pinch flat, another trip to the LBS. Here I am on the side of the road, very next ride, two days later with a flat, waiting for my ride to pick me up. I absolutely would not trust these tires.

Very nice handling, smooth ride for Recreational Road Rider

I was skeptical at first with this purchase, since I went down from 23mm to 22mm (only size left) as a Black Friday Sale. What a deal! I was pleasantly surprised that these tires are good for me recreational needs, even though they are considered ""race tires"" I do feel a litter more stiffness but I am willing to ride these out until they wear out. Uphill climbs are super smooth!

Oversized 28c + Smooth Ride

The 28c version is quite large. Measured in at about 30.5 mm Wide on a 17mm inner width rim. The turbo pro version in a 28c measured about 29mm. So most caliper brake bikes will have a tight fit for the rear wheel. The tire felt sluggish on acceleration since its too big, very smooth over rough roads. I actually had to ride on one of those chewed up roads prior to being paved, it was very smooth considering the situation. I had to switch back to my other tires since the rear wheel was rubbing on the brake caliper under high power / uphill climbs. I would try this in a 26c, but, i dont really want to re-buy the tires again.

Best tire I've used in 20 years

I've been riding these for 3 years. They are on my ""fair weather"" nicest bike, but that is the bike I use for my longest/most ridiculous rides so they have still seen a lot of use in bad weather, dirt roads, gravel roads, and really tough road conditions. I've been riding seriously about 20 seasons, these are the most impressive tires I've tried over the years. I've had no flats on these tires in about 8000 miles of riding. They are very fast rolling tires. Very comfortable ride quality, longest day in the saddle for me on these has been > 150 miles and they felt great the whole time Cornering grip is phenomenal in both dry and wet conditions They work fine on smooth dirt & gravel roads, even in the rain. They work great on our terribly paved New England roads Just an amazing tire. Also, my local Specialized dealer typically has them on sale at least once a year, for a significant discount. At that point they are not even an expensive tire the sale is so generous.

Favorite Tire for road and triathlon

The ride quality of this tire is amazing, especially with wider rims. I'm using them on Hed Jet 60/90/disc wheels (size 24) for triathlons and FSE carbon rims (size 26) for road riding. They are incredibly plush and noticably fast feeling; helped me to two sub 1 hour bike times for Olympic triathlon. They are easy to mount as well. Highly recommended; best tire I've used. Better than Schwalbe Ultremo Ones (which I really like) and Conti 4000's (too hard to mount).

Great road tire

Tried this tire after riding Bontrager R3's and Continental GP4000s II. I was very impressed with the S-Works Turbo. A fast tire with great road feel. They ride excellent and corner great as well. They seem to wear about like the other two tires I mentioned. Mine are 26mm with a claimed 220 grams weight. Mine weighed slightly higher at 249 grams on two different scales. Cons, they were difficult to mount on my Bontrager Aeolus 3 D3 carbon wheels and I see they raised the price from $55.00 to $65.00. They were a great buy at $55.
