Sawtooth 2Bliss Ready

The Sawtooth is THE adventure tire of choice, developed to handle any road surface and to be tough enough to withstand the rigors of exploration. The tread offers sharp angles and edges to hook onto any surface, while the Endurant casing reinforces the sidewall for added protection and high carrying loads. Meanwhile, our legendary GRIPTON® compound offers reliable grip and control, and the centre tread is reinforced for high mileage. Lastly, this iteration can be set up tubeless, so you're able to run lower pressures for added grip and traction, while also reducing the risk of pinch flats.

Fantastic tire

The best gravel tire I've used, great flat protection, durability, and works well on a variety of surfaces. Very disappointing that specialized decided to discontinue the 650b size, especially as it becomes more popular for gravel

One of the best

I can't believe you discontinued the 650b tires. What an insult. The tires are great but specialized has once again failed to listen to their customers. These tires are awesome all around. No complaints.

Outstanding Tyre

On my second pair of these tyres, they are on my everyday flat bar Diverge Comp. Not the best in super muddy conditions, but work well everywhere else for me.

I got a bargain

I bought a pair of these due to price. Really didn't expect much of a tire but after 2500 miles roughly I am shocked how well they perform. Still have a lot of tread, roll nice and are perfect for the Frisco Highline Trail (crushed stone) I live a mile from. Work well on the roads as well.

Exactly what is needed if you primarily ride on pavement, but sometimes gravel. I got the 700x38. These ride so, so much better than the 700x32s that came on my bike. Also the tan side walls look fantastic in person

6 STARS - 3000 Miles, Never even punctured

I run these with CushCore inserts so I can drop tire pressure on gravel/mud and they float and grip everything like a dream... I ride on the street through glass and debris and they don't even puncture, or if they do they seal up so nicely that I don't even notice. I work in the bike industry and have had the pleasure of riding many high end gravel and commuter tires and these are among the best I have ever used and easily the best bang for the buck... Hope Specialized decides to produce more of these because they are an absolute gem

Best. Commuter. Ever.

I ride about 60 miles a week to and from school in Denver, Colorado. Like all major cities, Denver has some issues, one of them is perpetual car break ins and trash from "camps", so there's broken glass and debris everywhere downtown and less than perfect road surfaces. These just roll through everything without skipping a beat. I can't believe I haven't had a flat on these yet. (I don't ride these tubeless because my commuter bike doesn't have tubeless rims). It's been about a year and a half since I mounted them, and they still have incredible grip and I'll say it again...I STILL HAVEN'T HAD A FLAT! I can't think of another tire that would hold up to this sort of abuse. When these eventually wear out, I'll certainly be buying another set. I can't speak to things like rolling resistance, cornering performance, gravel grip, etc, but they're great. They feel good and they last.

Almost perfect

These are a great tyre for mixed use, tarmac and gravel. They roll really well and will only loose traction on very loose gravel or wet & muddy conditions.

Perfect For Gravel and Pave Mix

I did not think these would be great on actual gravel, but I was incredibly surprised when riding them on a demo bike. The only times they broke traction were on standing efforts in deeper, loose gravel, where most tires would slip. Down to technique at that point, should've stayed seated. And for me, most gravel rides start with a fair bit of pavement to get out of town. On those sections, these tires are great too. Roll fast and smooth. Ended up buying a set for my bike after riding a demo bike with them.

My 2019 Diverge came with the Sawtooth tires. I went with carbon wheels and went tubeless. Never had a problem with them so I bought a set that were 2Bliss ready! They handle great on both asphalt and dirt. The original Sawtooth’s had 3600 miles on them and they still had a lot of riding time left. Great tire for the price!

Have not ridden them much

Have not ridden them much yet but the initial feel is awesome, they were easy to mount and roll super smooth, I can’t wait to get more miles on them as I went from 38mm Centaurato to 42mm with these ans my bike feels like it rolls better now.

durable & puncture resistant

I've done about 10000 kms on 2 sets of 42 sawtooths on my gravel bike across a variety of surfaces, including multi-day trips carrying overnight gear. I've found them durable, puncture resistant, moderately fast rolling & price seems ok. To me, being a touch heavy is a fair trade-off for those benefits. They perform pretty much like you'd guess looking at the knob-free tread pattern (or maybe slightly better): Good on tar, gravel & easy trails, a bit sketchy on tight single track, & out of their zone in mud, slimy rock, wet roots etc.

Great tyre, specially at the sale price - they roll well on tarmac (obviously not as well as road tyres) and they are very good on fire roads and packed dirt - haven't tried them in mud (and really don't fancy doing it). Overall great tyre and looks great with brown sidewall.

Great Tire

Put these on my S-Works Diverge and set-up tubeless day one. I have ridden in/over stuff easily on the heavy side of gravel exploration... have had one puncture, sealed so quick, I only realized it after the bike sat... has maintained pressure incredibly well over 1100 miles... gravel... bush... tarmac... bush whacking... packed sand... asphalt pump track... glass... screws... that is regularly seen in one outing. Has not flatted yet. Will buy again without a second thought.

Awesome Tire

I put the 700x42 on my commuter bike. I ride mainly on the road but like a larger volume tire for comfort. These tires roll exceptionally well, have amazing road grip and are excellent at soaking up the bumps. I am extremely happy with these tires.

A Good Versatile Tire

A good tire for different conditions. Rolls well on pavement but can handle various terrains. Mine mounted easily by hand. The tire is a little on the heavy side but it's tough, the 38c actually weighed less than the 35c that came on hybrid/fitness bike.

Great tire. Fast and comfortable

I installed these tires (2.75x1.95) on a commuting bike. It's really fast, but still enough tread for gravel and very light mud. Currently running with tubes, but love having the tubeless option.

Excellent all around adventure tire

I use these tires daily, I've had more than 3 sets. I commute, gravel, adventure and go to the mtb skills park on my drop bar road bike on them. They are not the best, they do excel in dry conditions though. Super loose and muddy conditions don't do them any favors though. Very durable, I have had one failure that would have been the same with any other tire that involved a nail in the roadway that tore the casing in two places. Not the fault of the tire. These tires are very long wearing, excellent at low pressures and are on the very affordable end of what gravel/adv tires cost these days. I highly recommend them for mixed use. I generally get more than 3500 miles on a rear tire, exceptional for the soft tread. Don't think twice, at least give these a try!

Great tire for Gravel/Hybrid bike.

This tire came on my Specialized Diverge and I think they're a great all around tire for road, fine gravel, and not too rough dirt trails. I ordered this extra to have on hand in case of a bad tear, and due to bike parts shortages lately. Fully inflated, and it glides quietly on paved paths. Handled 60 miles of fine crushed gravel trail very well. A hard & sharp thorn got through in less than 100 miles, but it was easy to patch the inner tube, causing a slow leak. I didn't have significant difficulty putting it back on the rim (only took one side off though). No problems since then. Wearing well.

Lots of Grip

My Sequoia came with 42mm approx 3 years ago. Drove 3700km. 95% Tarmac. Daily Commuter and tours up to 100km without baggage. It´s nearly as quick as my Roadbike with GP5000 25mm. No flat tyres so far. I go with 80psi on very good roads, 50psi on bad roads, but even with very low pressure it is not comfortable on cobblestone roads at 35km/h downhill (Steel Fork, Hayfield Rims). One time i drove 65km/h but it felt wobbly while braking at this speed. The rear tyre has to be I changed soon, the middle section has no profile and the Damping/Comfort got worse. I weigh 115kg/250lbs (6ft7""). I like the tyre.

Good tyre, throw a lot of water and mud

Great tyre, very versatile. My only criticism is throw a lot of sand/fine gravel/muddy water when the trails are wet. A more open style tread may be better in wet applications.

Great tire!

Love this tire. 700*38 on my trek Boone. A little tight when mounting. Sealed well with Stan's. My speed with this tire on the road is the same as my road bike with 25mm tires. Comfortable ride. No flats after 1600 miles this year. 90% road, 10% gravel. Center tread is smooth now. I'll never try another tire.

Durable tire for ebike.

They got the 'dry rot' people talk about but it is purely cosmetic. Ive got them on my ebike and thrash them hard. Cosmetic cracks mean nothing on a tire like this. Rubber ages, dont throw it into landfill until it is totally worn thru. These are durable tires. Dont buy if you want lightweight. Buy them if you want very strong and decently fast.

Surprisingly Awesome Tire

42c tires came with my Sequoia a few years back. I've now had three sets of the 42c tires on that bike over the past two years. This tire is awesome and grips surprisingly well in dirt/gravel, but, also is smooth and fast on pavement. Has good flat protection and they set-up tubeless easily. They aren't the lightest tire, but, have been bombproof. I've had one set of tan sidewall tires and two sets of the black sidewall. Black are a little heavier, but, seem to last longer. The tan sidewall tires did seem to have a more supple ride quality, but, the sidewall wore a bit quick. Have used these tires for daily commuting, bike packing, gravel rides, ect.

Better than anticipated

I am using the 700x42 tubeless for about the last 3 months touring. Maybe they are a bit slow-ish but that is to be expected with any touring tire. I'd say they fit the adventure tire category very well. I have not been a purchaser of many if any Specialized products before this so I am not speaking out of any sort of brand loyalty. They setup very well on my WTB KOM Touch I25 rims. I cannot say the same for some other similar tires that fit very loosely and had a blow off at a very middle of the road pressure. So I trust these and they have worn well. I did not really expect that.

Excellent on all surfaces

I have 700 X 42's set up tubeless on two Sequoia's for a combined total of 2500 miles. The tires have performed well on all surfaces including road, dirt and loose gravel. Lowering the tire pressure when riding off road significantly improves their performance. The only drawback I've seen is they easily hold on to mud. I've read the comments about dry rot but after using them in Hawaii for 18 months I haven't experienced that problem.

Like studded tires on ice roads

I ride all year in Michigan on gravel roads, in winter the tires must pick up small gravel, they stick to snow packed roads like studs, I like the gum wall too. Good rolling tire, that saves me many falls in winter, I'm keeping them on my gravel bike.

A little heavy and slow but comfortable

I have a 2018 Diverge Expert. I used the Roubaix pro tubeless tires for about 2k miles and they wore out. Replaced them with 38 mm Sawtooths. The Sawtooths are a little heavy and slower but grip is good. I run them at 60 psi for both smooth and very rough roads. After 1k miles, the rear tires shows an uneven wear pattern with the center tread almost gone. The fronts looks like new. The tires are a good value but for my kind of riding, i think I am going to switch back to the Roubaix pros. If riding exclusively on gravel, the Sawtooths may be better.

Great Adventure Tires

Very good ""adventure tire"", quiet on pavement and capable on dirt/gravel. Tight tread pattern leads to less issue with gravel and debris pickup and add to ease of transition between surfaces. I highly recommend the tire for both quality and durability. Well done.

Rad Tyres

Fitted these tyres to my commuter/gravel/touring/bikepacking bike to replace the 29er tyres it came with originally. I was seeking something that was faster rolling, but still capable of all terrain riding as the bike they are fitted to is literally my do-it-all steed. I can say with confidence that these tyres can handle almost anything that is thrown their way! No flats thus far! Even after putting them through their paces on muddy, rocky and generally questionable back country roads. I'm happy to report they are also very good wearing, with several thousand km's already clocked up. Not to mention, the transparent sidewalls look totally rad! Would highly recommend!
