Back up purchase in the event of replacement. Connector pins look fragile and caution should be exercised. Will see how long it lasts under normal use.

I had approximately 1000 miles on my original cable. I decided to replace it because bike end connector had cracked. This wire is difficult to attach to the bike even if you clean the connection points often. I love the extended battery. I'll be getting a second one soon. The bike is ran both as a gravel bike and road bike as I have 2 sets of wheels.

I have burned through three of these cables so far. The end that plugs into the bike is of poor quality plastic that breaks and gets misshapen. Once this occurs, it will not seat and lock into place. I don’t know why it happens but I am extremely careful inserting it and removing it and yet the damage still occurs. I’m very frustrated and disappointed at having to continue to replace this cable, which is not cheap.

if you don't put the cable in the bike, and you paddle backward, it breaks because it is pressed between the pedals and frame.

Worked for my creo. You need this. Does not come with the battery although it should.

The right and correct length fitted perfectly onto the bottle/battery cage and locks in securely using the twist lock lever.

The cord seems very durable and does its job.

The tag included wasn’t much help in getting it hooked up to range extender and bike. I used the Live Chat which was very helpful in taking me to a diagram. I finally got it sorted and working. The locking mechanism is very stiff and difficult to use at first.

This cable works as advertised. Easy to install and solidly in place. The locking mechanism firmly keeps connector secured.

Using this cable as a backup to one I already have for my battery extender. We do out of state bike trips & felt it might be important to carry “just in case.” So far, I’m very happy with the way my Specialized e-bike performs & the extender & cable. Thanks for asking.

Make sure you purchase the proper size for your bike model

The cable is just too easy to damage. In less than one year, two of us have already damaged this cable on our Vado SL

I haven't had the cable and extender that long, but it's working great for me so far. No trouble with the locking mechanism or the fit on either end.

This is the 3rd one of these I’ve had. Bayonet locking mechanism wears out and fails regardless of being gentle with the second one. Plastic may not be the best material here.

Needed this cable to add the extra battery to my Turbo Creo SL Comp , Specialized put a small sticker near the charger port specifying the right cable length needed, that said I didn't see it and so called for the correct specs. Works as advertised and no issues.

Works well but it's a 6 pin connector that needs to be placed correctly I use a sprayable electrical connection cleaner and that helps to make the insertion easier

Installing this on my RE for my new Turbo Creo SL the fit is perfect and the locking mechanism is a great idea. Solid design and materials.
