CREO SL vs MT LEMMON

Detalles del producto

Add Icon

We have a long history of developing the world's highest performing road bikes. Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix, Allez, Diverge—each one dominates their respective category, featuring the best technologies in the industry. And while that's a tough palmarès to follow, the Turbo Creo SL redefines e-road bike performance. It's lightweight, smooth, capable, and lively—all with the power to flatten mountains, laugh at headwinds, and go farther than you ever thought possible. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL E5 Comp features an E5 Premium Aluminum frame and a Future Shock 1.5. For the spec, we included a 1x Shimano GRX group to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost™ wheels get wrapped in 28mm Turbo Pro tires to keep you rolling worry-free. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff, premium E5 alloy frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.

  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.

  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.

  • By connecting with our Mission Control App, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit. Don’t want to connect? No worries— the Turbo Connect Unit (TCU) on the top tube gives you all the control you need to ride.

  • With 20mm of rough-road-taming travel, the Future Shock 1.5 not only delivers a smoother, more comfortable ride, but it also reduces fatigue and increases speed over harsh terrain. The new Smooth Boot, meanwhile, enhances the aesthetics to bring a clean transition from the head tube to the stem.

  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and a female cyclist. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders—one that's comfortable, snappy, and handles like a dream.

Many roads- One "ride"

After one too many health issues, I decided on the Creo Comp. Kept my road bike (Giant) and gravel bike (Framed) thinking I would get back to them. The Creo has met and exceeded my expectations! I simply switch tires to match the ride- 28/32 for road and 40's for gravel. Rarely use the Sport mode, and never use the Turbo more- can get 3 rides (30-35 miles) on one charge usually, so no need for battery extender. One bike for all. Sold the other bikes and now there is room in the truck for the dog!! NO regrets.

Fantastique machine

Unbelievable

I purchased my Creo SLComp E5 last September and have more than 1000 miles on it. I can't wait to get out and ride it every weekend and sometimes during the week. The pedal-assist is amazing; you can feel it kick on the hills and with a headwind. I smile so much on the bike, I get bugs in my teeth. I had a Specialized Triple for 9 years and loved it. This by far is exceptional. I love the disc brakes, the Range Extender Battery, the shock on the stem and the smooth ride. I'm only on the country roads and have to get used to saying "on your left" quite a bit.

Almost 10,000km now and still loving this bike

I bought my Creo E5 in 2021. I hadn’t really ridden since high school. Test rode this bike and instantly fell in love. Went from a couch potato to a MAMIL in the space of a few months. Now I ride it mostly without power assist but on those days when the headwind is relentless it’s great to be able to press the button and let Turbo do its thing. Also makes for fast, fun laps of zone two training.

Expensive - but amazing

his bike is amazing. It's not some slapped on electric motor. This whole series of bikes is engineered around the motor so that it rides and feels like a top of the line road/gravel bike. I use it for a 32 mile (round trip commute from an outer suburb to downtown). My city has rough streets so my one upgrade was to go to 38 mm summer and 38 mm winter tires and run those at 60 psi. That smooths out the bumps to both me AND the bike. I used to average around 15 mph on a good day, now I can maintain around 20 mph. It's shave 10 to 20 minutes off each direction. That's getting back 20 to 40 minutes of may day. That makes the expense worth it. Since I am tall and not skinny and have lots of traffic lights along the way I use more power on this commute that someone riding long distance on remote roads. I can probably get around 40 miles out of the batter when set to the default 60% support 60% peak power. This is NOT a cheap bike, but it is an amazing bike. I highly recommend this product

A gamechanger

I have had various Specialized road bikes over the years, pleased with all of them but time cates up with you I have over 2000 miles now including a 1K lands end to John O'Groats so my thoughts are based on some background Comfort... Well its just as comfortable as the Roubaix, the futureshock 1.5 works but not a deal breaker for me. Frame seatpost and saddle do good job Wheels... these are 110/148 hubs which does restrict your choice but they have been solid on the UK rough roads. Tyres were changed to Continental to improve puncture protection Gears and brakes... Normal shimano dependability, Brakes work well despite additional weight Range and power.... I'm using this with the range extender so 80 miles with 1500 metres of climbing still left approx 25% of battery left. The battery connections are a little flimsy but just harge time is about 3 hours. Motor works better with a cadence over 70, 80 being ideal Conclusion.... its hard to see any better road ebikes

SPECIAL...E !

Non ho mai guidato una bicicletta così. Davvero straordinaria.

I bought thie Specialized Creo

I bought thie Specialized Creo aluminum e-bike because I needed assist to get up hills at my age… 83yo. This bike smooths out the hills, my knees are no longer aching after finishing a 40-50 mile ride. All the rest of the 3 modes are a bonus when not climbing. It allows me to get to the finish much faster than before. This bike will surely increase my cycling life for a much longer time🍷

Fantastic bike

I've had my Creo for about two years now and love every ride on it. Unlike some ebikes, this bike feels very natural and not assisted (in eco mode). It feels like you have a very nice tailwind all the time, and it deals with hills great. On the higher modes, it's a great commuter, and in turbo mode, you definitely know it's an ebike. Plus - it's light enough that even with the assist turned off, it rides great. Several guys in my bike group have them. We are all 60+ years old, but we have the assist off about 80% of the time, but when we need an assist - we've got it. Specialized hit a home run with this bike.

Both my wife and I

Both my wife and I bought Turbo Creos. We have been riding Diverges for 3 years and loved them. At 75 I want to keep riding on a regular basis. The help that the Turbo offers allows me to ride farther and longer. Because we live in the high desert of western Colorado we wanted gravel bikes so we swapped handlebars and tires on the Creos to make them gravel bikes. We have been Specialized fans for years! I am 76 years old. I purchased this bike from the Specialized web site on March 26, Bike was shipped and ready for pick up on April 2, I have just over 600 miles on the bike after today's ride. Being able to stay with the group in the head winds and higher speeds was the main reason for purchasing this bike. So far the bike has exceeded all my expectations.

Fantastic Road Bike

Just picked up an XL Cero SL E5 which is the alloy version. First let me say I was shocked at how light it was. I also own a Roubaix Comp Carbon and I was surprised the Cero SL was not much heavier. Added pedals and a few other accessories and off I went, let me just say, out of this world. Forget the power assist this bike flies without the assist, almost like my Roubaix which is a carbon frame. Trun on the power and you become a rocket ship, even in Eco mode. Put it in Turbo and you may lose your helmet. Now I love my Roubaix and will ride it as well but with the Cero SL I can now do 50- and 60-mile rides, I am 67 so those longer rides are a bit of a chore and at 67 I do not want my leisure activity to be a chore. You want a good workout, turn the assist off which is how will do often. Long story short, if you are considering a road bike, buy a Cero SL.

Awesome

It took me a while to fully understand how to use the e-bike. I just completed a ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway and the bike was awesome. The three levels of assistance were excellent and very useful on the long and hilly parkway. Adjusting to the various levels took a day or two to comprehend but once I got it, I was able to complete the daily (30 to 40 mile) rides without being sore or exhausted. I am a 72 year old male and the Creo was well worth the cost.

Einmal Creo - immer Creo

I was snobby against ebikes but bought one and love it

I was snobby about ebikes but decided to give it a try. I rode a couple of Specialized ebikes and chose a Creo because it looks mostly like a real bike, the snobbery persists. I love it! I'm 80 yo and I've got stable angina so that I get some pain at the start of a ride but it goes away and going up a hill later in the ride causes no pain at all. The arteries relax and expand during the first 20 minutes or so. With the Creo I can ride faster with the same or slightly less effort using only the first level of assist. I can't hear the motor at that level but can hear it whine when I go to the second assist level going up a hill. So I'm riding more often, longer and having more fun. I'm managing my weight and my resting heart rate is 52. When didn't ride for a few weeks I used to get sore elbows when I started up again but that didn't happen with the Creo. I guess it's the spring in the fork that's causing that. I didn't expect the bike to be as enjoyable as it is. A pleasant surprise. The Creo is also more responsive that my other bike, it just turns quicker but still stable.
