The Rib Cage II is not only a sleek, lightweight water bottle cage, but it's also been designed to be fast in the wind. Of course, it also performs its primary task of holding tight to bottles dutifully, so you won't be losing bottles when the road gets rough.

  • SWAT™ technology design allows for storage and tool integration.

  • Super-low bottle position improves the aerodynamic profile.

  • Tuned compression design provides a secure bottle retention with easy in-and-out accessibility.

  • Reinforced composite material improves durability without adding weight.

  • Sleek, minimalist design with razor-sharp graphics.

  • Accepts EMT Cage Mount MTB or Road Tool.

  • Accepts MTB XC Box (when used on compatible frames).

  • Weight: 33g

I would not buy this product

I bought this bottle cage when I bought my Specialized Roubaix, per bike shop recommendation. It did hold the water bottle well, a little too good. It was difficult to get the bottle out while riding the bike and put it back in. Now, it cracked from using it.

Bring back the old rib cage

I used the original rib cage with an elastomer tip like the Elite bottles use for so long I forget how old it is. It's the best cage ever. Easy in and out for all bottle types, but super secure. I got the newer version a few years ago for my road bike, and was bummed about the design change--much harder to get bottles in and out. Are the 3g saved worth a potential dropped and lost bottle or limiting drinking or swapping bottles to when you can be distracted by getting the bottle back in (more an issue on seat tube cage). Pricing isn't competitive with comparable Elite and Bontrager cages, so the gravel bike will get cages from someone else. Colors are limited too.

What a waste

It broke the first time I tried to put a bottle in it. I've had other people tell me the same thing. I wish if known before I bought it.

Time will tell

Lasted 20 minutes before the inner ""rib"" cracked. Replaced by LBS, shame as the colour suits my new bike to a tee.

Great bottle holder

This is the second one I've bought because I'm now doing longer rides (3-4 hrs) so instead of carrying one bottle I can carry two :) I wish the material would be a little bit less stiffer.
