Great hand support

Very happy with the hand support this glove provides. Discomfort much reduced on long rides. Other commenters have complained about them being too small. They do feel difficult to get on the first time but the wrist opening quickly stretches a bit and the fit is perfect. If you’re often between sizes choose the larger size.

I am an average sized

I am an average sized male with normal hands, but found even the Large size in this glove to be difficult to slip on. They were comfortable enough once I pulled them on, but wish that Specialized would return to a design with a Velcro cuff that would make it easier to put on and take off the gloves.

Most of my gloves have

Most of my gloves have a velcro closure but these do not. First few times putting them on was a little tough but they go un easy enough now. I ride mostly on the hoods. The palm pad is perfect for this. These are my new favorite gloves.

I should know by now:

I should know by now: gloves are always somewhat smaller than indicated size. My hands are “average” size, which I consider “medium,” yet, LARGE sized gloves are still tight. The quality of Specialized gloves is superior to others that I have tried. Providing more objective sizing data would be helpful; perhaps, for example, “wrist size (cm),” “finger length (cm),” or some measure of palm circumference indicated in a diagram.

Seemed like a fine glove

Seemed like a fine glove when it arrived, but was too small. I thought I had measured my hands according to the guide, so maybe they run small if you’re in between sizes?

Best gloves I've found

I've been using this style glove for several years now. I buy 3 at a time, which covers about a year of nearly daily MTN biking use. I find these to be superior to gel gloves. I have been thoroughly satisfied with these gloves.

Same padding issue plus seam is coming apart

Used maybe half a dozen times and the seam on the right-hand glove by the thumb and wrist is coming apart. This is not a tear but the thread is falling out. The padding is also bunched up in the pocket towards the thumb. For supposedly a higher-end more expensive glove, the quality in this product stinks. And the QC process for testing to ensure the padding stays in place isn't working. Don't buy these.

Same padding issue

After just 10k the right glove's padding moved and piled up into a nice uncomfortable bump in the middle of the hand. 2 more k and the left glove followed suit. Pair of gloves rendered useless after 12k. Will be returning asap.

I prefer your previous series

The gel in the gloves were rolled up and stuck like chewing gum on my first ride. The wrist part is so tight, I felt numbness in my pinky. Please bring back your previous model, those were the best in the market.

I would NOT purchase this or recommend these gloves

Purchased BG Grail gloves on-line. The process was fine, however, the product was/ is totally unacceptable. The gel pad wadded up at the base of the palm after 1 ride. These are a lot different than the Grail gloves I have purchased in the last 3-4 years - 4 pair - they were the best, No longer. Either a manufacturing defect occurred or you changed the design or you changed manufacturer. These are not the same. What I can't believe, is that you did not or have not discovered this ""in-house"". Someone should have found this defect. I would think there would be a response from Specialized on this issue.

Gel Pad Fail

I too must warn you that the gel pad on these gloves is really badly designed. After only a few rides, the gel pad slid out of position and ended up bunching up near the thumb area, making for a very uncomfortable ride. There is no way to fix this issue.

Don't waste your money

The first pair sent he a hole in them. On the replacement pair the gel insert does not stay put and bunches up on the palm. Terrible quality for a premium priced product.

Padding doesn't stay in place

After their first use the padding all bunched up in the bottom of the glove which makes the ride painful. They need to sew in the padding or something to keep it in place.

Sew in the padding

These felt awesome on my hand when I tried them on and I think the idea is great. The color and visibility are cool. The problem with these gloves is that after about 5 miles into a ride, the padding had folded up into a ball toward the bottom of the glove and was difficult or nearly impossible to recorrect. I think all Specialized needs to do is sew the padding in place, but if they're left as is, they're unusable.
