Today, more than two-thirds of all car trips are 16 kilometers or less, these are also the most carbon-intensive trips for any car, gas or electric. Trading in car trips for bike trips is the single thing we all can do to address climate change. To support more riders, we’re growing our e-bike and active options (fitness, transport, commute) and innovating to tackle barriers including safety and access. Evident with our support for the E-BIKE ACT in the United States, we’ll continue to partner with industry organizations, starting with People For Bikes, to advocate for state, local, and federal policies that promote increased access and safer streets.

Specialized Australia is committed to net zero emissions by 2030 and this is part of our overarching long-term business plans. We will take steps forward this year by undertaking an audit of our local business. More to come.
