I've owned it for about 2 years now. It's been ridable, so I figure I have to give it at least 2 stars for that. I bought it on sale (direct delivery) for around $550 with shipping and tax. Review length is limited, so I'll just list at a high level what annoys me about this bike. Maybe it will save someone some headache. The brakes seem worse than any other bike brake I have ever used, even after much tinkering. Both shifter indicators broke within a few months, and one of the shifters has subsequently degraded further. The front derailleur doesn't seem to work well, even after repeated adjustment attempts. The fork seems very stiff, even for a Suntour and even with preload turned all the way down. The geometry feels kind of off, even though I used the sizing chart. Finally, my customer service experience for a small issue I had right after receiving the bike was passable but not great. I've had good luck with Specialized road bikes in the past, but this mountain bike was a bust.

I was the spike he was perfect for me for my kid. He left it for his birthday. The only problem is he wants to upgrade the sun door shock. Maybe try putting a fire shock on next time specialized

After going out and riding i love this bike. I’m not a hardcore rider but this bike could do it all if I wanted to. It’s comfortable it’s quiet it looks awesome. It’s a perfect first bike or if your like me getting back into biking it’s perfect to jump right back in and not breaking the bank. After the brakes break in they work as good as anyone could ask for. I recommend everyone getting one.

I really like this bike and I recommend this bike to everyone. Its light, great shifting, good brakes and overall a great bike. I've had this bike since August 2022 and never broke it or anything. I really like this bike and I recommend you get this bike.

Purchased the bike for a friend. It looks great, was assembled by a local shop. I can speak to it otherwise but it was a good value for what you get.

The bike arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the quality of a Specialized bike shows the same as my other bikes, with the exception of the rear tire. Upon assembly, the rear tire was wobbling badly. So I dismounted the tire several times and replaced the inner tube to eliminate that as a factor. There is an obvious defect in the tire with a visible bulge. The wheel is true as expected. I contacted Rider Care via email and explained the issue with no response. We have snow still, so not a huge priority, but it is getting nicer and I want my daughter to ride her new bike. I have contacted Specialized Rider Care again and am waiting for a response. If no response, I sure cannot recommend buying from their online site. I'll change my opinion if they actually respond. This is not the customer support I would expect after buying a bike that came with a defective part rendering it unrideable. Stay tuned.

This bike is amazing! I was not able to go into the store and try my size but I went with my height and it is a perfect fit. I got Xs since I am 5’1. The color looks more green than the green highlighter color but I still think it’s amazing. Great quality for the price.
