Contact points - those spots where our bodies meet our bikes - are crucial areas for comfort and control. Get it wrong, and even the best bikes can be miserable to ride. We developed the new Terra handlebar to be the paragon of comfort, control and performance, with an optimized blend of carbon fiber and advanced construction techniques yielding exceptional ride comfort, precise handling and class-leading strength at an impressively low weight. A shallow drop and moderate reach combine with a 12-degree flare for optimal all-terrain comfort and control.

  • Optimized blend of high modulus carbon fiber materials and advanced construction techniques yield a light and confident bar.
  • Ergonomic top perch alleviates pressure on the hands.
  • Bar flared at the drops for added stability - 12 degrees.
  • Bar Width (center-to-center) 38/40/42/44cm.
  • Bend : 103mm drop x 70mm reach.
  • System Weight Limit: 275lbs / 125kg.

Great bars

Narrow tops with flare. Superb. If they made an integrated stem version, I'd get them as well.

Love these bars

I bough this handlebar for my Crux build, and it is exactly what I wanted out of a carbon gravel bar: light weight, short reach, short drop, and a small amount of flare. I've never been comfortable riding in the drops for any length of time before, but I can ride in these all day due to the shape. The improved shock absorption over alloy bars is noticeable, too. I only have one complaint: I wish it had printed alignment marks on the bar to assist in alignment with the stem. I recently removed my stem faceplate to install a Garmin mount and there was a lot of unnecessary pfaffing around with painter's tape and a sharpie to get the bars in the right place when re-installing it.

Super comfortable

The stock bats on my Diverge STR left something to desire. I ride a lot on the tops changing hand positions frequently and the flattened top across the entire bar is very comfortable compared to the riser stock bar. It saved some weight over the alloy option also. One drawback was the so called 12 degree flare was significantly different on the alloy bar IMO. Side by side comparison showed I wasn't imagining it. I'll deal with this attribute because the tiop is so comfy

Excellent Gravel Bar

I have ridden many gravel bars and this one fits just right for my riding style and comfort requirements. They flex just enough to help eat up the grave chatter and the ergonomics are perfect. I couldn't be happier with my decision to add these bars to my Crux.

Sharp curve around top bar and shifter hoods - Not Shimano shifter friendly on some models

Upgraded an older S-Works Crux with the new Roval Terra handlebars and had a difficult time wrapping tape with disc brake hoses and shifter cables. These bars have a sharp almost 90 degree curve which makes tucking shifter and brake cables very difficult due to the sharp angle around the shifter clamp area and top rear of the hoods. Not sure what the engineers at Specialized were thinking, but these bars are definitely not friendly with concealing external cables under handlebar tape. Nice that these support the bar end Di2 ES-RS910, but I do not recommend these bars with older Shimano shifters, especially the ST-RS685 and ST-R785 due to the angle of the brake hose connection. I give these bars a 5/5 for lightweight, 3/5 for quality (bars arrived direct from Specialized with some fine scratches) and 1/5 for compatibility with older shifters.

Fantastic gravel bars

Short and shallow measurements fit my hands perfectly for aggressive descending and offer a nice compliance too. Love the flare numbers too, not too little or too much!

These are not good gravel bars.

Too stiff for gravel, very short hand position while in drops. Cannot recommend

I put this on my 2022 Expert Crux to replace the alloy one. I like the shallow drop and fit better. Weighs a little less than the original one too.
