Offering an unprecedented combination of comfort, efficiency, and nimble handling, the Sirrus X excels on pavement, dirt, and any terrain in between.

SMOOTH, COMFORTABLE, AND EFFICIENT: The patent pending Compliance Junction frame design of the Sirrus X provides the smoothest ride in its class. Engineered vertical compliance without sacrificing lateral rigidity translates to more comfort, control, and efficiency on all roads, paved or gravel.

RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED: Like all Specialized carbon bikes, the geometry of each frame is uniquely crafted. This means that for every frame, each tube size and carbon layup is specifically selected to achieve the optimal balance of rigidity, weight, and responsiveness to ensure that no matter what size you’re riding, you’re going to experience the world’s best ride.

NIMBLE: Class-leading light-weight, exceptional pedaling efficiency, and steering precision merge for confident, nearly telepathic handling characteristics.

  • Specialized FACT 9r carbon frame features internal cable routing.
  • Using our Rider-First Engineered™ philosophy, the geometry of each frame is uniquely crafted. Each tube size and carbon layup is specifically selected to achieve the optimal balance of rigidity, weight, and responsiveness no matter the frame size.
  • The Compliance Junction provides just the right amount of flex and forgiveness across the carbon frame without sacrificing performance and efficiency.
  • Future Shock 1.5, Specialized’s unique suspension design, is placed inside the headtube to prevent harsh frequencies caused by bumps in the road from reaching the handlebars.
  • Wide 38c Pathfinder tubeless-ready tires are ideal for mastering variable terrain, providing traction and comfort off the beaten path.
  • The minimalist yet efficient SRAM NX Eagle 1x drivetrain with wide-range gearing ensures smooth and reliable shifting.
  • Tektro hydraulic brakes with large 160mm rotors provide reliable stopping power on- and off-road.
  • Sirrus X 5.0 is fender and rack compatible with top tube and fork mounts, and racks can be used with 51c DRYTECH fenders, making Sirrus easy to rack and roll.

Sirrus Fan

I have owned two Sirrus models. One Carbon framed model and one alloy frame. To refer to a Sirrus as a “fitness” bike is an understatement of its potential. I ride mostly on pavement with some short stretches of gravel. I am 67 years old and enjoy the less aggressive position the bike puts me in. I have comfortably ridden 80+ miles in a day. The few times I have felt that a lower posture I would get with a true “road bike” would be better are few and far between. If you are looking to average 20+ mph it’s not the bike for you. If you are happy with averaging 15mph, you can’t go wrong. The one modification I made because I use it more as a road bike is I shortened the handle bars approximately two inches.

Super bike

Despite all the current difficulties, I finally received the long-awaited bike. The first impression, of course, was bomb: design, matte carbon fiber, rolling... Everything is just super! After 500 km, the impressions have not deteriorated but I have one question for the manufacturers: Guys! You put below-average equipment on such a cool bike... Of course, it’s not necessary to install ASX, but at least install bushings for the XD drum. Better yet, immediately provide suggestions on the website for upgrading the installed SRAM NG EAGLE equipment and brakes. The bike is not cheap and I’m probably not the only one who had the desire to change the connecting rods and system. I installed SRAM GX EAGLE AXS UPGREATE but further replacements raise big questions. But overall the bike is certainly FIRE. Having a large chainring in a 50T system, as well as having a 38T drive chainring, is super rolling. The FUTURE SHOCK system works flawlessly.

Overall, really good

I’d like to give this five stars but there’s a couple things that need to be improved to make it a five star review. Overall, this bike is excellent, it’s very smooth. It’s very comfortable and is perfect for what I was looking for. The ride is excellent, It’s smartly designed and is a big relief to my neck having switched from a conventional gravel bike. But I question the selection of components. They needed to do an upgrade on the drivetrain for better shifting and on the brakes for better breaking. I bought it for the carbon frame , knowing I was gonna make some changes to it, all virtual cost me probably $1000. I opted for this versus Any other similar bike because I have a specialized hot rod 29er mountain bike, which has been great to ride over the years. The shock that is built into the stem is plenty enough to dampen the little bumps along the way, and my shoulders and neck feel better as a result. I have to recommend the bike, it’s overall really nice.

Fun, unrestricted, comfortable.

1st impression from 7yrs on road bike, this bike is comfortable. Better visibility of traffic, looking over shoulder easier. Next thing it was like being a kid again with the wider tyres, cutting through parks, using shared cycle paths along the beach, exploring. Love the future shock, you have 4 settings, no sping, soft/med/firm. You have a choice to suit you. Was concerned about 1x. I have hills, some 8° +. The gearing for climbing was easy, sometimes easiest gear to slow. And on the flat cadence too big using 38T chain ring. Have tried 40T but have settled on 42T, that seems to suit me best. Thoroughly recommend. Only negative, I live in a humid place. I look after my bikes, cleaning and lubing chain regularly. Was disappointed chain was showing signs of corrosion and after 2 months bottom bracket as well. Quality of these a little disappointing but I did have Integra before. When I changed the chian ring needednew chain, got X01, problem solved.

Great all round fun bike

I collected my new Sirius x5 in Spain last week & had the most amazing fun cycling the coastal walkways from Marbella to San Pedro. The terrain is a mixture of paved walkways & made up pathways. I’m a 60 year old man who has enjoyed road/mountain bikes for many years & i have now found an amazing fun bike with the new carbon framed Sirius ,

Smooth and ultra comfortable

My first carbon frame bike, and it is light and agile, but takes the bumps out of the road very nicely. The frame looks different, but feels strong. The future shock is completely unnoticeable, until you see the post area compressing consistently. I have ridden on roads I know well and that are bumpy, but this Sirrus X 5.0 smooths them out . Highly recommended.

6 months later

3,300 miles and 6 months later still loving my Sirrus X5.0. Tune up fixed my bent Derailleur Hanger and replaced my worn out chain. The ride was so much quieter and smoother with new chain(average mph slightly increased also). LBS was surprised how well the tires were holding up, very little wear for the miles traveled. I can’t wait to hit the road every morning.

Impressive

I was apprehensive in purchasing a "flat bar" bike after many years on traditional road bikes. I purchased the X5 about 2 months ago, the X6 wasn't available. I changed the tires to 28's, bottom bracket and crank to Rival 40 tooth, and the derailleur and shifter to SRAM Eagle GX AXS. This bike flat scoots and handles like a road bike. I highly recommend this bike even if you keep it stock.

Pretty Good

I tried one of these, but am planning to return it in favor or tve Trek FX6. Maybe it is not a fair comparison, but the Sirrus 6.0 is largely unavailable for comparison. Trek FX6 feels more solid and I prefer the feel if the components. The tires on the FX6 also are high pressure up to 120 lbs vs 80 on the Sirrus 5. I like the shock on the Sirrus, but still not enough.

Best hybrid I’ve found

I bought this bike to ride mainly on paved bike trails very very very light roadie I know it’s considered a gravel bike but I still called a highbrid. This bike is light fast and doesn’t have drop bars which I hate great urban fitness bike. I am mainly a mountain biker, but use his bike during the week after work to stay in shape I like that it sits like a mountain bike but it’s fast like a road bike.

Vado SL replacement

Six weeks ago replaced my Vado SL 4.0(32 months old, 13,470 miles, 17.7mph average mostly on Turbo, one motor replacement)with the Sirrus X5.0. A very smooth ride with 10 less pounds than the Vado SL. After 888 miles and average speed of 13.6mph this bike is a winner. It’s nice to know that if the headwinds get to strong and the legs to weak there is the Vado SL waiting in the wings.

colorado gravel rider

ive bought this bike about a month ago, and have been riding on colorado gravel roads near the continental divide. ive ridden over 200 miles so far. these gravel roads often have heavier gravel with cobbles in the road bed, hard dry, and are sometimes washboarded. the bike does ride gravel more comfortably, is light and climbs well. its very good on paved bike paths. the riding position is balanced and excellent. i had to install a grippier, lower pressure 40 mm gravel tire than the stock specialized tire. the frame will accommodate a 45 mm tire. the only problem noted is that the washboard vibration and frame deflection seems to be causing some minor paint flaking on the top of the top tube. a light weight hardtail might be a better choice for rough gravel riding around here

Almost Perfect

Its fast and handles great. Mine has a few glitches, front brakes squealed and the future shock has an annoying clicking sound. My local bike shop put in new brake pads and that cured the squealing. The clicking sound just started a few day ago.

Sirius ex five

I purchased the carbon Sirius X5. I’ve had it now for approximately two weeks. I love the color being satin. Red tint carbon black. It is a fun bike to ride and it’s very fast. I have a Roubaix carbon bike. I’m 68 years old and decided I needed some thing a little more comfortable enough right. Great bike! I had it shipped to Bicycle Face in Lexington. A great dealership and bike store. Definitely do business with them again.

I traded my Sirrus 4 for a 5X. The frame design provides noticeable suspension and is far more nimble than aluminum. I love the handling and quality. I like being able to change stem suspension.

Smooooth and fast!

After a full week of riding around town I can confirm this bike is legit. Future shock and new carbon frame are insanely comfortable on the road, this thing eats up small bumps and imperfections on the road. This is a lot of bike for the money and glad I stepped up to the 5. For reference, I tried the X 4 at the shop and the difference was noticeable- weight, handling and acceleration. Plus it this looks cool, I’ve already gotten a handful of compliments.

Smooth as glass...Sirrus 5.0 carbon

I have been looking for a flat bar, carbon gravel bike with some sort of small front shock for well over a year. The future shock and the new design on how the seat tube hits that cross bar makes this bike ridiculously smooth. I can't say enough good tings about this bike...smooth, comfortable and a total blast. We rode for 2 and a half hours on back woods trails and at no point was I worn out from the road rumble. Honestly it's gonna be hard to get back on my actual mountain bike as this thing is so fun and light and nimble. And at $2,200 it's a steal.

Back On the Road Again

Back on the road again. Had to give up the road bike last year because leaning into the drop handlebars resulted in too much wrist pain because of bone-on bone issues. Been strictly riding the mountain bike because it is more upright and has a flat bar. But I miss the road bike experience. I did test ride an X3 and with its aluminum frame and no shot absorption, it caused wrist pain over every road crack. However, this X5 greatly improved the ride comfort. The carbon frame for sure smooths out the ride.. but the Futureshock is perfect. Much less pain going over cracks. And I did my last ride with clips and went much faster. This is my new road bike.

The mountain biker's road bike

I've had this bike for a couple weeks, enough to get some decent miles on it and see what it's all about. This is an awesome grab and go bike, something you just pickup and ride to the brewery, or do a nice fitness ride on. It's an excellent commuter, but it's also great for putting a lot of miles in on mixed surfaces and not worrying about what you'll encounter on your ride. It's very comfortable. Between the carbon frame design, the Futureshock, the carbon fork, and the larger gravel tires, it's an extremely comfortable bike to put down long miles on. You don't feel road seams or bumps. You can ride over everything. As a larger rider, it's been plenty stiff for me, while still being extremely comfortable to ride. I did upgrade the saddle to a Bridge Comp with Mimic, cause the stock saddle was a bit of a torture device for me.
