Dollar-for-dollar, the Enduro Comp is hard to beat. You get the same full-carbon frame as the Enduro Expert and Elite models, loaded with great components that include powerful four-piston disc brakes, a wide-range 1X drivetrain, and capable RockShox suspension.

  • INCREDIBLY CAPABLE — If the Enduro looks like its sibling, the Demo, it’s because they share plenty of downhill DNA. A more-rearward axle path reduces wheel hang-up on big impacts. A low- and forward-positioned shock keeps it planted and confident-feeling at high speeds. And balanced chassis stiffness helps the front-end steer precisely and keeps the rear-end tracking like it’s on rails. Add it all up and you have a bike that laughs in the face of the steepest, rockiest trails.
  • ASTONISHINGLY FAST—UP AND DOWN THE TRAIL — Stomp on the pedals and the new Enduro accelerates far quicker than you'd expect possible from a downhill bruiser. To start, we increased anti-squat, so the suspension better-resists pedal bob. Then, to further its efficiency, we re-directed the angle of the chainstay and upper shock linkages for a much more efficient design. The end result? Less bobbing, more speed.
  • FAST STARTS WITH FIT — Fast and fit aren't mutually exclusive, which is why the progressive geometry of the Enduro has been designed for going up and down. To start, seat tubes and stack heights don’t grow massively between sizes, meaning you can now pick a frame size based on both your height and your riding style. Pair this new sizing style with a slacker head angle, longer reach, and steeper seat tube across the line, and you’re left with a quicker and more capable steed, no matter the size.

Great bike, I usually opt

Great bike, I usually opt in for the expert build or s-works, but for the price of the comp I thought why not. I ride pretty chunky trails in Arizona and this bike has been bulletproof. Bike is good to go out of the box, I would probably change the rear tire to a downhill casing or maybe install a Cush core. Have fun!

Love the bike!

I've taken it on a few trails with some rock ledges and jumps and I love the travel on the suspension and the clearance. It handles beautifully. Would highly recommend the bike for some rough terrain and jumps

Fast

I bought my son a stumpjumper-evo-comp and I was not able to keep up with him on descents at some local bike parks on my trail bike. I bought this bike so I could hopefully keep up with him on the downhill sections. Now he can't keep up with me! This bike handles everything I throw at it and it just wants to go faster.

Sizing problem S2

This is an excellent bike, but the sizing guide could use some updating. Riders under 5’6” will likely need to use a different dropper post to get correct saddle height. Maybe the LBS would swap it for a shorter post, but it’s misleading to say this bike fits someone who is 5’2”

Best bike I've ever owned

I've managed to set PRs on climbs and descents with my Enduro. It's a big bike but it'll be fun most trails. When you point it down hill it's composed and allows you to go faster than you have any business going.

The Specialized Enduro Comp 's

The Specialized Enduro Comp 's suspension design does a great gob of smoothing out the bumps. I traditionally prefer a DW Link style suspension like Giant's Meastro, Santa Cruz VVP and have been currently riding a Rossignol Alltrack R-DURO. I'm not a boutique bike person as I like bikes that have some successful heritage in their design. It's my first 29er and enjoy little to no pedal strikes. The Enduro's geometry works well for all my mountain and park (Killington, Burke, Thunder..etc) style of riding. The component level is great also, but then again I've never ridden a bike with an Ultimate level fork or XO/XX1 drivetrain. I can ride anything and know how all the components work together but am impressed with the new ZEB with the SELECT damper that's on this bike. I'm just under 6 foot and the S4 frame size feels perfect. When I'm in the saddle, my eyesight is straight down the front of the stem and crown. So overall I'm really enjoying it so far (half a dozen rides on it) and will be upgrading the rims to a 35mm ID from the stock 30 and moving to 2.6 tires. Not sure why the spec'd 2.3's as everything out there pretty much has a 2.4 or 2.6 tire these days. Anyway...I'd recommend this bike to anyone looking for who is a diverse rider that wants only one bike for all their biking needs.

MUST HAVE!

I bought this bike on 2020, just when it was released as "THE ENDURO BIKE OF THE YEAR"... bought the Elite model (no longer available).. GX, Code R, Lyrik, Super Deluxe.. well, my firs impression on the bike I remember thinking to myself.. well, this thing likes to go, FAST.. I was NOT mistaken!!! Had a bunch of upgrades over two years, BUNCH of them.. they have only made me ride harder, faster and gnarlier stuff I have only though I could never ride.. this thing is AMAZING, truly remarkable piece of engineering!!! YOU WILL NEVER REGRET BUYING THIS BIKE!!!

Bike is awesome no doubt about that! Had a couple of issues with shipping, the derailleur came broken and the handlebars weren’t secured properly and damaged the paint on the fork.

its pretty good

I've been riding this beast for a few months now and I cant find any substantial flaws so far, I've put a few of my own parts on it like a different saddle, bars and stem and a few other bits, but I don't think that effects performance that much, after coming from a hardtail I can say that this bike eats anything you put to it, its stable in the air, through gnarly rock gardens, steep stuff and its pretty good at climbing too, the 29 wheels and semi lock out shock make climbing quite easy with no bobbing from the shock, the tyres are very grippy so cornering has been no problem for me, i also find that it is very easy to jib around on trails when it gets slow, but the bike loves speed!

It's a beast!

I'll start by saying I have only taken this bike out a few times, but I've already fallen in love with it. As it's made for, the downhills are a blast! It loves to go fast and handles best at around 10+mph on flat winding trails. Still learning how to best maneuver it around tight slow trails, but with this geometry I knew that was going to be it's weakness. I'm more confident on steep rocky downs, and hitting jumps. I will caution the buyer if you are looking for more of a trail bike with lots of travel, go with the Stumpy Evo comp. Even though I ride mostly rolling trails, I decided I wanted a bike that could handle just about anything I would be brave enough to tackle. The seat tube angle is on point for climbing. It does well on long up hills. Short steep ups are not it's strong point(or could just be my legs..) Overall I'm super happy with my purchase and I'm loving the bike. Definitely a beast of a bike. Just remember your are getting a 60% downhill enduro bike. Happy trails!
