Power Expert with Mirror

Delivery Icon

We deliver! Just say when and how.

The Perfect Reflection of You. The Power Expert with Mirror saddle combines comfort and performance for riders whether they are podium-seeking crushers or everyday cruisers. The Body Geometry designed Power shape with high-tech Mirror inserts provide sit bone-friendly support road to mountain uses.

ATTAINABLE TECH: The Power Expert with Mirror saddle provides riders with a significant reduction in pain-causing pressure when compared to it’s foam counterpart, the Power Comp Saddle. Inside the saddle are two tear drop shaped Mirror Technology inserts that target sit bone pressure. Riders around the world will be stoked that the new Expert level Power Saddle with Mirror technology make these benefits more attainable than ever.

POWER SHAPE: Our beloved Power shape, with a cutout. The patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested to ensure blood flow to sensitive arteries. Is it a road saddle? Mountain saddle? In short, yes. We hate to say a product works “for everything”, but it does. We believe that performance—in saddle speak—means comfort. And whatever shape and material suits you, will be your highest performing saddle.

MIRROR TECHNOLOGY: We developed Mirror technology by 3D printing from a liquid polymer to be a perfect reflection of you. Mirror technology allows for infinite density tuning with a single material, but any material is only as good as the designers and engineers that use it. Thanks to our Body Geometry methodology, Retül data, and decades of experience, the 3D-printed matrix is tuned to support the sit bones across a greater area, creating a hammock effect that lets the saddle support your weight, not the tissue around your sit bones.

ANY BODY, EVERY RIDE: We know that every body is different, but the issues facing riders in the saddle are the same — sit bone pressure, scar tissue build-up, and blood flow loss. Using pressure mapping, blind comfort studies, and blood flow studies, Body Geometry and Mirror Saddles don’t just promise to solve these issues for people—we’ve proven they do. Plus, this is the first saddle with Mirror technology in additional sizes (130 and 168).

ALL AROUND USE: The Power Expert With Mirror saddle uses the same 3D printed technology as the S-Works Power with Mirror except the Expert has 4-way stretch cover to keep mud and debris out of the nooks and crannies of the Mirror lattice. That dirt-shedding feature, plus super durable, yet light weight hollow titanium rails make the Power Expert with Mirror the smart choice for gravel and mountain riders, in addition to those who stick to paved surfaces.

Perfect

Discovered the Power saddles years ago after increasing misery on my sit bones using several others; made me happy to ride again. The Power Pro w/ Mirror surface was too tacky and rough for my shorts, so I gave up on it and went with this one. Comfort of Mirror without the abrasive surface.

Love it, do not hesitate to purchase

This is a fantastic saddle! I like it so much that I eventually purchased one for each of my bikes. Now all of my rides are just as comfortable.

Sharp edges

I tried this in a 130mm and found that the plastic edges are sharp and protrude ever so slightly making it uncomfortable.

Good saddle

Comfortable from the very start. If you have big legs like mine, the narrower saddle is better.

not comfortable.

This set is not comfortable on my sit bones. I'm not sure if the seat is just not the correct fit but the discomfort sets in fast and is fairly miserable.

I bought this bike because i have always loved specialized aluminum frames. They just seem to have a certain ring to them if that makes sense. The mechanical brakes are more than adequate regardless of what you’ve heard. only upgrades i made were roval seat post and power elite seat. The pathfinder tires are awesome in my opinion,i’ve ridden a variety of surfaces and I'm impressed so far.

Best mirror yet

Best of the bunch! I had the sworks power mirror but found it too squishy and too tacky. This is a step in the right direction. Very happy with the saddle.

Years of saddle sore issues GONE!

I've had saddle sores for years and when I got sized for a saddle they recommended 155mm, and I was recommended the regular power saddle in that size. But I still had issues, and I changed everything from different clothing, a bike fit, etc. Finally decided to try out a wider 168mm saddle and in this new mirror version where the mirror tech is encased in an outer shell (cheaper and won't get dirty). I know I sound like an ad but this is legit: I went on one ride and already noticed a difference and now I don't get sores with or without chamois. I know my experience is different in that I should've been on a wider saddle in the first place, but I do think the mirror tech helps relieve pressure from certain spots too. I'm female if that helps you make your decision, and I believe I was on the cusp of needing at 168mm in the first place. Highly recommended saddle! Gotta get one for all my bikes now.

Narrow saddle for a skinny rider.

I'm 5'-6" & 125lbs. I'm short & skinny. When I purchased my Tarmac SL7 Expert, I was disappointed with the 155mm OEM Power Expert saddle (too wide & loose/squeaky Titanium rail). I'm so happy to ride a 130mm saddle because I love the narrow shape & Mirror inserts. This 130mm saddle is comfortable & quiet.

Finally: no numbness or pain!

I've tried five other saddles over the past two months (including other Specialized, Selle, and ISM) in my search to end numbness and perineal pain and none worked. And this one is the answer! I've ridden it for about 50 miles and my nether parts have felt great for every mile. When I felt the saddle with my fingers in the store, I thought it might be too firm, but the technology works well and I've been very comfortable on it. Now I can actually just enjoy my rides rather than thinking about my saddle.

Great saddle

At first it was a little shorter since it’s a power saddle, but after a few rides I got used to it. Also the mirror technology is great a provides sufficient cushioning on long rides.

Soft in all the right places

I've had an S-works Power Mirror saddle since launch - love it! But sometimes, it feels a little too soft for my liking. I saw the Power Expert Mirror launched and decided to give it a go. After a few weeks of riding, I like it more than my S-works Mirror. I agree with another reviewer that it's not as soft/comfortable as the S-works product, but it's literally more than half the price off. It definitely takes the edge off of normal foam saddles and you really can't beat the price. 5 stars!!

Wider isn't what I was expecting

Bought the 168mm version to replace a 143mm Power saddle that came with the bike. Expected the 168mm saddle would be wider throughout when compared to the 143mm, but it is not. The middle / flat portion of the saddle (when looking from back) is the same width as the 143mm. The 143mm and 168mm both slope away from the flat portion equally. The 168mm just slopes away from that flat middle further. Not sure this actually offers more support for wider sit bones, while still allowing for pressure relief in the middle. That said, it's not uncomfortable. It's just not better than the 143mm and I don't think it offers what all the "Body Geometry" and "Validated by Science" marketing would suggest for those of us wanting/needing the wider size.

Very stiff

I bought this saddle because I though it would be softer for the but. This saddle is very stiff more then i though and was not confortable for me, i am sending it back. I though this saddle was as soft as the s works model but it is not the case.

Needs refinement

Pretty cool concept but something is missing. Saddle shell is too flexible so lots of creaking noises from shell, rails and padding. Might be more suitable for road or gravel but it didn’t work for me mountain biking. Didn’t have these issues with the Power Mirror version.
