This is a mid-class carbon wheel-set that spins fast and is easily upgradable to the 54t spline for increased engagement over stock(18). Tires mount easily. Abec3 bearings, per spec. Great value.

My first carbon wheels were these C38s. Couldn't have started with better ones! The DT 370 rear hubs have an 18t ratchet that engages quickly but is very quiet. The wheels are fairly light, but they provided a great sweet-spot for aero and low-profile on my Aethos. Climbing on these wheels is a breeze and they'd be welcome even on bikes originally spec'd wit pricier hoops. Get a pair if you've never had carbon wheels, they'll be great!

Never had carbon wheels before. But I got a new Cervelo Caledonia frame that I was going to build up and decided on these; reasonable enough price point, and they had good reviews. I love them. Will never settle for less again. Very good climbers and I feel as if there is always a tailwind component on the level. I liked them so much that I bought another pair for my older Cannondale Synapse Carbon and they significantly lightened and energized that bike as well.

These wheels came with my Tarmac SL6, and are nice, but once I put a set of Enve wheels on it, I never wanted to use them again. Good looking, and great hubs.

Bought these with my new Allez Sprint frameset to replace my old Allez Race frame with my Stans No Tubes superlight alloy wheelset. The new frame and wheels are waaaay smoother uphill, downhill, and on the flat. This combo is so comfortable to ride that it could be used as an endurance bike. There is only one place that my old bike is better, and that is uphill. The new setup has gained 1kg, and i can feel the difference up the hills, the old bike felt really responsive when climbing. Would have liked to have tried the Alpinist alloy wheels to see if the new bike could have replicated this feeling. Maybe not a bad thing to give up some weight for the resulting all round smoothness and ability to ride the bike longer and further?

Pedalamos noite e dia no Circuito Uai, em Minas Gerais de forma agressiva e no limite e as rodas não apresentaram nenhum problema. Elas rolam muito, devido ao seu perfil aerodinâmico e cubos de ótimo funcionamento. Uma roda que vai mudar a sua bike e deixar você tranquilo na questão de resistência.

Par de rodas leves e robustas. Com cubos DT Swiss 370 e freehub Ratchet LN com 18T, não espere um ruido alto com eles. Até me agradou o fato de serem silenciosos, mas o ponto é que quase não sou ouvido quando me aproximo de outros ciclistas ou pedestres. Rolam super bem e com macies. Não tem o que falar dos cubos. Uso em estrada mas para gravel deve atender bem também, pois absorve bem os impactos dos asfaltos brasileiros, aumentando o conforto para o ciclista. Acompanha válvulas tubeless e raios para eventuais trocas. Parabéns Roval e Specialized pelo excelente produto.

Have only got out on the new bike Roubaix Comp - but so far LOVE the ride & handling ! The C38 rims are light & stiff AND best of all - had em set up with Roubaix PRO tires 30/32 and tubeless. From advice of our bike shop service dept mgr - have em set at 60 psi - and the ride is SO SMOOTH ! Wavered between Elec shift & upgrade wheels ( both @ $1,000 ) Went w/ mech Ultegra & the Roval C38's - GLAD I DID !! Great Upgrade !

These are beautiful wheels. The single best upgrade you can do. I put them on my diverge E5 elite mainly for comfort and looks-they did not disappoint. On the road it feels like I'm riding on a cloud at some points. Miles and miles better than axis elite but that's not saying much. VERY happy

Really nice wheelset. Only slightly faster than my old, alloy wheelset but the biggest surprise is how comfortable these wheels are over my old set. Vibration dampening is way up. Also, really quite good in strong winds- very manageable.

Purchased as daily wheelset for my gravel bike and have not regretted it. Primarily running 35mm tubeless in fast gravel conditions, and these have performed flawlessly so far. I wish they would offer these with a higher end hubset more in the range of their CLX wheels in other models, but for daily use, this set up is great!

These wheels are a great balance of many factors. Deep enough to provide aerodynamic benefit but shallow enough that you won’t get blown around in the wind. Light but not so light as to drive costs way up or complicate maintenance. Great power transfer and solid on descents. They changed the 370 to the star ratchet for easy upgrades (not needed on a road bike unless you just want the noise). Finally the price - which is relative depending on who you are. It’s still a ton of money for the common man like me. But it’s a great value compared to many offerings. Particularly as it pertains to peace of mind - you know Specialized will take care of you if there are any problems.

Paired the wheelset with Conti GP 5000 700x28's with Latex Vittoria tubes on a Tarmac SL6 @ 80 psi. They are super smooth, handle incredible and fast for training. The brass nipples and competition round spokes will be easy maintenance in the future if ever needed. The new DT 370 hubs are as good as the DT 350 hubs, just a little heavier. Great quality.
