We deliver! Just say when and how.
The Torch 2.0 Road shoes are all about comfort—well, comfort and performance that is. Due to the materials, road shoes often feel stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to address this annoyance head on, though. To do so, we've implemented a 100% mesh and TPU construction on the Torch 2.0 that allows for more wiggle room in the toe box and a less constrictive, sock-like feel. The upper is then paired with our medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel and toe that provide the perfect degree of off-the-bike traction. For the closure, we added a single lightweight Boa® IP1 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability, while also providing simple, on-the-fly micro-adjustments.
I replaced an old pair of Specialized road shoes and was worried the fit may have changed over the years - but it was a perfect fit. I have three or four rides (about 100 miles) on the shoes and haven't had any problems yet. They still need time to break-in but I found it comfortable right out of the box.

Great fit, looks great

Look great. Wide enough. Really wanted to like them but the tongue is too long making them unwearable due to rubbing at ankle joint. Couldn’t wear them for even the shortest ride. Can’t believe Specialized has put their name to these shoes. I’ve worn Specialized for the last 15 years and now have changed because of these shoes.
I wear a 11&1/2 so tied on a 46(12) and it was too long so I thought the 45.5 would be the right size. After several rides it was apparent that the shoe box was too narrow and was pressing on the top of my right foot. My feet are not wide but these shoes are not good for me. Perhaps if you have slender feet they’ll work.
I have ridden with Torch 1 shoes for over two years. They are excellent shoes, but the Torch 2 is even better, It has an improved boa system and stronger heel cup. It is snugger with a more stable fit. At the sale price, it is a bargain. I couldn’t be happier with Specialized quality, both in my Specialized bike and shoes.
Was a bit nervous about switching off of my 20+ yr old Sidi's, but, damn, if these shoes ain't the bomb. Huge toe box, my feet are much cooler now and I can actually flex my toes. Much lighter than the Sidi's (albeit different vintage). Works great with LOOK KEO cleats. They center nicely, and I run the float reds. Highly recommend these shoes.

Quality workmanship and materials. Single BOA + Velcro are sufficient for secure fit. Comfortable, after adding 1/2 to standard US shoe size. Recommend and would/will purchase again.

I have some Recon shoes from specialized in size 9 and they fit decent, so I thought ordering the same size with these road shoes would work as well. But alas, they are too narrow. My feet are exceedingly normal and not wide in any way, but these still do not fit. Length is great, but width is not. Also another annoying thing is the tongue is too long so it digs into the top of your foot. Not sure how they came to this design cause I can't imagine how that works for anyone's foot. Nice shoes otherwise and insanely stiff with the carbon soles. Definitely try on in person if possible.
Good fit. Looks nice on a leg. Yet keep in mind if you get under the rain these shoes stays wet, and don't have any ventilation on the bottom. So you'll keep cycling with all water in. Inner part of the shoes pretty hot for summer, I cycled in +25 C it was a bit uncomfortable.

The fit, feel and look of the shoes are all fantastic. I’ve put over 100 miles on the shoes already, and I’m convinced they are worth every penny I spent on them. Super comfortable with no pressure points anywhere within the shoes. The Boa lacing system makes setting the fit to my preference very simple. I already had a pair of the Torch 1.0 shoes, and the 2.0 shoes are, in my opinion, worth the slightly higher price. And, since the 2.0’s were on sale the decision to “step up” was a no-brainer.

I have wide feet and with this torch 2 I was able to fit in with my actual shoe size (37). There’s a lot of toe box space which I’m super happy! I feel very comfortable when riding with it.

For the price, this shoe is okay. It may take some time to break in, but the shoe's upper doesn't feel very supple. My last pair was an S-works shoe, so I know there's a quality difference, but I was hoping for more. I may just need to spend some more time in these shoes, but after just one ride: PROS: the toe box is comfortable, soles feel stiff for power transfer, BOA system, heel cup seems to grip nicely // CONS: tongue digs into the front of my ankle (glad it's got a padded edge), upper seems stiff (might just need to break in), volume is slightly weird (toe box is comfy, but wide part of my foot is pressured to outside edge of shoe, it's not evenly wide from toe to midfoot)

I have torch 3.0 and wanted 1 BOA for my triathlon shoes. Work amazing fits the same as 3.0 and work great for a triathlon shoe.

Good fit. Love the wheel design and really good looking!

Most comfortable shoes I’ve purchased in a long time! No hot spots or numbness even after several hours on the bike. Love the colors too!

Great fit finish. Very comfortable.

Although the shoe seemed to be narrower than most, the toe box was so wide that I was unable to get a proper fitting shoe.

fits perfect. love the color.

Great pair of shoes. Fitted perfectly and comfortable to wear, light weight and was exactly what I was looking for.

Very comfortable for those with a wider foot

2nd pair of Torch 2.0. So far I have 8K miles on my first pair and they are going strong still. Bought this second pair because the color was great and to get another pair broken in for next summer. Best toad shoe for the money.

With 2 comfortable pairs of specialized shoes size 45 already, I felt confident ordering these online - nope way too long and also too narrow. Ordered the 44, still heel slipping and even more cramped on the toes. Maybe specialized have changed their foot models? 2 stars because they're well made and light, but no use if you can't get them to fit your feet without heel rising. Shame their older makes fitted my plates beautifully..
Beautiful shoe. Comfortable. Runs TTS (after reading reviews that they run small).

Great shoes! Nice and firm.

Size runs a bit smaller than previous Specialized road shoes - though certainly within general sizing expectations. But was able to dial in a good fit. Two adjustments I would like to see. 1) the tongue is a tad long - causes discomfort on front of ankle. 2) who decided that the left Boa should be backwards? Goes against all conventions! (Righty Tighty; Lefty Loosey)

I have difficult to fit feet. The last 2 pairs I purchased at stores never fit well & I had to cut holes in the sides to accommodate my feet. I have poured over info & reviews before buying these shoes online. Amazingly they fit!! The toe box is roomier than other cycle shoes I’ve worn or tried. I’m relieved, comfortable & very happy with them.

I ordered the wrong size, but once I got the size I needed I loved them. I also use the specialized insoles for high arches and have not been happier.

My last specialized shoes are over 10 years old and needed replacing. These look great and feel good. Have just worn them once so far but am anticipating a long run with these as well. My foot is reasonably wide and specialized seem to suit my feet awesomely well.

Great shoe. Padding key

Great shoe overall. I used to have a pair of the torch 3.0's, but these have a nice stiff carbon sole, and I prefer the boa mechanism on the 2.0 (on the 2.0, it allows you to "quick-release" by popping the dial upward, but on the 3.0 you have to unwind it by twisting). It's a small thing, but nice to just pull your shoes off quickly at the end of a ride.

At first, I ordered a size that was way too large, but Specialized made the exchange process easy and quick. The dark purple matches my team kit perfectly!

Fantastic shoe. Looks great, feels great, rides great. What more do you need?

Sole is stiff enough to give great energy transfer

Nice fit but there are no drain holes in the bottom of the shoe for rain water. Poor design and not happy

So far I have used my shoes on three rides. They fit great and I have noticed the difference in the amount of power that is transferred.

I had a bike fit and it was the third time someone told me to upgrade to a stiffer shoe. I had such a hard time believing that a shoe would make that big a difference, but OMG! I have so much more power especially on hills and the cramping in my feet has gone away. What an upgrade. The Torch 2.0 fit great and have made my cycling even better.

The shoes fits well to me and comfortable during the ride. Value for money and good quality

I've been riding in Spec Elites for 4 years and loved those shoes, until a buckle broke...so I moved to the Torch 2.0 for the replacement. The heel fits well, and there's plenty of room in the toe box. The BOA lives up to the same and tightens across the foot uniformly. However, both shoes present a hot spot on the outboard sides of my feet, no matter how tight or loose BOA is adjusted. It was not apparent in the store, but I feel it (worse in my right shoe) with repetitive downward movement when pedaling. It feels like there is an object in the shoe that presses against my foot. I'm trying to work with my LBS on my options...I'm just not loving the Torch 2.0. I may move to a different brand altogether.
Comfortable, great support, attractive
I have been very happy with my Torch 2.0 road shoes! I have big and wide feet and typically wear a US 13W. I ordered these in a 48W and they have been outstanding. Plenty of wiggle room in the toe box and the rest of the shoe feels great on my foot. I was previously having issues with numb toes on my rides but these have corrected that. Obviously I sized up when choosing the 48 (equates to a 13.75 US sizing) but if that is what corrects fit and numbness issues- so be it. The 1 vs 2 BOA concern- 2 would obviously allow you to fine tune a bit more, but I have had no issues with just the 1. I've put around 600 miles on these shoes before writing this review and having only great things to say about them. Tempted to order another pair while they are in stock!
I've had these shoes for almost two years, so I feel I can write an honest and thorough review. They're a good entry level carbon soled road shoe, very stiff, OK on comfort. I would suggest spending more to get two boa dials. the problem with the one boa dial system is that it tightens very unevenly. you end up with a tight fit around your upper foot, looser further down on your foot. to remedy you this you have to tug on the side openings of the shoe to even out the tension. these shoes are also sometimes prone to squeaking when the tongue rubs against the outer.
I really wanted these to fit but unfortunately they are sized WAY too small. I have 10.5 Brooks, Asics, Merril, and Sketchers sitting here. All fit great and te Brooks even have a little space in the length. I thought that I would be safe ordering a size up so I ordered 11 wide, and what I received says 11 but they aren't nearly long enough. I returned them and found a broken in used pair on the facebook marketplace in size 12. Those fit great though they were already broken in by the previous owner.
These were too tight on the top of my foot near the ankle. I ended up getting a different kind with two bolas so I could tighten the lower part of my foot while leaving room for my ankle to flex. Also seemed to run a little small.
These shoes are perfect for the budget minded cyclist. Entry level or experienced amateur, if you finance your own cycling costs these shoes are perfect. Stiff soles provide good power transfer with generous toe box for the long rides in warm weather. My first quality shoes were Sidi's toe cleats and these will certainly prove to be as loved as those ol black friends. I ordered mine 42.5 even though the size chart conversion said 41.5 for my foot length.
As a footwear engineer for 50 years the Specialized Torch 2.0 is an average shoe and needs improvements. The collar is gapping and too high on the medial side and needs improvement not just in the cuboid area of the Footwear Last, but also a Pattern review. I could redesign the shoe with the corrections to support Specialized to improve their products. I currently use other italian brand and wanted to try the Specialized. As mentioned above, the shoe does the work but needs improvements.
I am so excited about these shoes. I'm a certified spinning instructor who isn't teaching right now, but I am still in the saddle riding. These shoes meet all of my needs. I find them very comfortable and light. Looking forward to one day taking them on the road for a ride as well.
Was disappointed in that my 47 wide is closer to a 47 regular. The shoe really needs to be wider if it is to be billed as wide. The upper material is hard and does not conform to a foot as my older shoes did. I ended up using a shoe stretcher and heat to expand the upper. It works, but I am disappointed. I also purchased some X-large socks that I could not pull up over my heal. Seems that XL only means extra long. I have wide feet and need a sock with a larger girth.
They look good indeed but I experience a numb toe (large toe only) while riding. I have changed cleat positioning to at least 14 different position to no avail so cleat positioning is not the problem. I have never experienced this with my previous shoes. I changed the insole as well and did not help either. Cannot recommend the product.
Sorry to say that this is a poorly designed shoe for the price. It is not possible to distribute weight at varying pressures with a single BOA. There's also no advantage to having a single Velcro strap.
The first time I used a cleat shoes & I love it! The style, color, comfort & ease use with the my bike pedals.
Love Specialized shoes but this model when tightened came too high around my ankle area so I'm going to try a different pair that is cut lower around the ankle.
My 3rd pair of Specialized shoes. Previously rode Specialized Audax shoes and Elite Road, putting several thousand miles on each pair - they were solid and tight until they just wore out. Have only about 500 miles on these Torch 2, but they fit and feel solid, and I can feel the stiffness on every climb. Other brands I've ridden (won't mention names) feel too plastic or stretch - will stay with Spec.
They are comfortable for anything except standing up on steps, or walking, but, that's to be expected. My feet are a C/A (front/heel), and after trying on several shoes, and having the senior fitter look, he suggested the Torch. A good choice, it allows the pressure to be equalized better than with the straps. It's not a criticism, just an observation. When you put them on, a little bit of the base of the tongue gets caught at the bottom, take the time to tug up and get it flat. Getting the tongue up, and centered is the key to getting a good ride out of these.
I've used the same old pair of shoes for many years and many kms. I finally had to wave goodbye to them and find new shoes. After looking at various shoes and reviews online, I went to my nearest specialized dealer and opted for thebTorch 2.0. Well, I must say how times have moved on. These are light, comfortable and the BOA system is superb. To me they feel like a top shelf pair of shoes and I am very happy with them.
The shoes look great but my toe jammed right up to the front. Wanted to order a size up but out of stock until Feb!!
Nice light weight cycling shoes and a perfect fit with the foot beds +++
This is my first pair of carbon shoes. I feel like i am putting more power to the tires with these shoes. The boa clasp is great and allows you to tighten and loosen in tiny increments. These are very comfortable.
Although the shoes are described as being all about comfort, in my experience they are plenty stiff enough and I have used them in crit races without any problems. The Boa system works well and tightens the shoe evenly, and I didn't feel as if I had to overtighten them in order to make sure my foot didn't move around. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because on long rides I found the tongue would sometimes feel as if it was digging in slightly where my foot meets my leg. I get this with quite a few shoes and it didn't really cause pain thanks to the padding on the tongue, I just sort of knew it was there.
I picked these up from my LBS after looking for a wide carbon sole, boa road shoe that won't break the bank... I need a size 12 wide so I went with the 47 wide which fit perfect in the toe box area. The regular width shoes definitely did not fit in the toe box. The issue lies with the arch on the outside of the foot, whatver the arch is Ive never experienced it in any cycling or running shoe.. Literally feels like my foot is in a vice. I tried adding superfeet inserts which usually solve any issue I have with shoes, this did solve the solution at all. Stuck with a pair of shoes that I'm going to have to sell for a loss after only using for less then 100 miles.
I've tried many shoes, including some very expensive ones, and the Torch 2.0 is just about perfect. The fact that the price is very affordable is just a bonus. The fit is very comfortable with a generous toe box. The Boa closure works very well (in my opinion you only need one Boa per shoe) and the quality is very high. I initially bought the reflective version for early morning riding and loved them so much I bought a second pair in white. The sizing seems spot on. I highly recommend these shoes!
They are OK. By the picture I though the red was mode Red, but it trend to be into orange/pink
Very comfortable shoes, sizing was true to size. I ordered the wide version of these, and its a perfect fit for my wide feet. Pair that along with the body geometry setup, and these shoes knock it out of the park. Most comfortable cycling shoes i've worn.
Love how these fit and feel! I have flat feet and large, size 14. I have been trying to get the leather on a pair of Sidi's to break in but they just won't. The first time I rode with these it was instant comfort and support. I have a hard time finding shoes as it is, let alone cycling shoes. Love these!
On my 2nd pair, very comfortable for long rides but can still transfer power due to the sole stiffness.
They feel good, light and comfortable
Second pair of shoes from specialized. I like the brand better purely for how comfortable the shoes is even on long rides.
Look and feel great. Tried indoors to check for comfort. Seem wide enough and fit like a glove in early rides but after 40 miles the outside of my foot starts to ache and after 60-70 miles is unbearable and after taking shoe off can barely walk. Very disappointing as these are described as 'All about comfort'. Need to buy an alternative.
Light, very comfortable, look great. I have always worn size 43 and had to go down to 42. Use the sizing guide supplied
