Our Element collection of gloves is designed to keep you warm and protected from wind and water, all without adding any bulk or restricting movement. Starting with a soft shell, water-resistant and breathable laminate, we add 100g Primaloft® for insulation from the cold. The Element gloves are the lightest Primaloft-insulated gloves we make, so you get excellent flexibility and handlebar feel—but with this lobster-style design, you're fingers keep each other warm, ensuring both dexterity and comfort. The Ax Suede palm, meanwhile, provides a sure grip, even when wet, in order to keep your hands where they need to be—in control. Lastly, the rib-knit cuff is the most accommodating cuff closure we make, and it's designed to go seamlessly under a jacket cuff.

  • 100g Primaloft® insulates without adding bulk.
  • Hydrophobic Ax Suede fit palm ensures a confident grip with the bars.

Run Small .. Expected More Performance

Bought XL at Local Bike Shop and have used a half dozen or more times for longer (40+/- mile) late-season road rides ... so typically 2+ hours. I use with SRAM ETAP AXS which has large paddles easy to find (shift) with the glove. Most rides are pace-line and they work fine with enough dexterity to give confidence. No trouble braking or shifting. From a working temperature perspective, performance fades at about 33°-35°F. They are tight, especially the thumb, so difficult to add liners or heating pads. The thumb is especially tight and short and thus thumbs get cold. My local store doesn't have the XXL which might provide the room needed. In most gloves I'm a large or (Castelli) XL. So I'm a bit surprised these are cut as they are.

Not as warm as I

Not as warm as I expected. Hands got very cold first ride in 40 degree weather. Also , I think they run a bit small. I’m a medium wearer, but my mediums are very hard to get on (impossible if you take them off mid ride to eat something).
