question not reveiw

although I've never ridden the status 140, I've Riden the status 160 and it's an amazing bike I currently have a 140 on the way and I'm mostly wondering if the rear right triangle sits too low to make it single speed without a chain tensioner?

Great frame, even 140 feels

Great frame, even 140 feels like more travel than it is. Custom build, have put 20 miles on it so far, and no I haven’t weighed it. I would call on Specialized to supply some sort of underside down tube protection with each frame or build. As a budget jibber and thrasher bike, it offers minimal protection on the chain stay and nothing me at the bottom bracket. I purchased an S5 at 6’3” 175 and an s4 would feel great as well. I would ask Specialized to make longer stays for the S4 and S5 builds, it’s not huge, but the short rear end is definitely noticeable! Overall stoked!
