Turbo Como 4.0

Turbo Como 4.0

Delivery Icon

We deliver! Just say when and how.

Como is a laid back e-bike with a clean look and upright rider position for convenient comfort and style. This full-power electric bike was designed for city streets and comes equipped with fenders, lights, and a low step-through frame, making it perfect for daily commutes or riding around town.

Como offers the best combination of power, range, and usability while remaining incredibly versatile. You will never have to sacrifice comfort for style. You’ll find yourself making up errands to ride it again.

COMFORTABLE: An upright body position and smooth handling are optimized for all-day riding comfort, confidence, and control.

EASY TO USE: The Como's sleek design and step-through frame make the bike an approachable, functional everyday e-bike.

POWERFUL: It’s you, only faster — it’s 4x You, to be precise. The Turbo Full Power system senses the force you apply to the pedals and naturally amplifies your effort by up to four times for an experience that makes getting up any hill or to any destination no sweat. Literally.

SMOOTH: Stay comfortable in the saddle with an 80mm front suspension fork, higher volume tires, and a plush suspension seatpost that smooths harsh bumps.

TURBO: The heart of the Como is its Turbo technology, the advanced and integrated electric bike system that delivers an unequaled combination of power, natural feel, anti-theft functions, training tips, and a full-function bike computer.

SECURE: Como has anti-theft on lock.  Thwart would-be bike thieves by disabling the motor with a press of a button so nobody can turn the motor back on without your personalized pin. For additional protection, the Como's battery locks in the bike, or can be easily taken with you. Beat it, bandits.

SILENT: Turbo Full Power Motor provides smooth, quiet, and seamless amplification for a quiet ride on any terrain.

The speed limit at which the motor will stop supporting may vary significantly by region and is based on local requirements. It may also affect range: a higher speed limit may result in less range.

Como 3.0

Como allows me to ride with a cadence like regular bike riders and I can keep up with most composite serious riders on the trail with those super light bikes. Thus, I'm getting more exercise I stay out longer. Head wind, getting to the end of abilities, no problem turn up the assist. I wanted all the gears to be away from the sand, elements and no derailer to hit and knock out of whack. This Como has a belt rather a chain creates less issues and maintenance. I have about 700 miles on my bike and no problems with gears or tires or belt. Price well you get what you pay for right. I was lucky mine was on summer sale but with all these features I knew it was the one for me. Just make sure you get the right size S, M, L for you size and style of riding because you can't adjust the handlebars. If you legs are long with smaller trunk you may have an issue. The store was nice enough to trade her medium instead of a large. We will see if she still needs to replace the handlebars.

There’s a small learning curve

There’s a small learning curve on efficient use of the assist, but just keep riding and you’ll get the hang of it! Before you know it, you’ll be riding EVERYWHERE!

I tried several eBikes before

I tried several eBikes before purchasing the Specialized Como 4.0. Being a Specialized Roubaix owner, I was used to the road bike forward position but wanted a relaxed stance to use this bike for errands and lunch rides with friends who don’t own road bikes. It felt different at first but I am very pleased with my choice. I decided on this particular model because of the suspension in the front and in the seat post. It makes for a very comfortable ride at higher speeds. I did replace the seat that come with it for “The Cup” which is more comfortable for me on longer rides. It is everything I wanted in an eBike.

I prefer the Como over

I prefer the Como over the Vado because the step through is really easy. The Vado is not bad, just not quite as easy. The only other difference I notice is that the Vado steers a tad faster while the Como is a bit slower with a more laid-back feel. Both bikes are a joy to ride! I love the controls and the display, very well thought out. Charging is easier with the battery in the bike but it's not a big deal to take the battery out to charge. Either of these bikes will make you smile!

I finally got to go

I finally got to go for a ride. I love it. I have a very bad hip and just having it in the eco mode made it possible to do the inclines in my neighborhood. I am so glad I decided to spend the money.

The bike is perfect with

The bike is perfect with the one major exception: there is no indicator on the shift lever to tell you what gear you are in. Nor does the Mastermind indicate what gear you are in. You just have to go by feel and memory when riding. A big minus in my mind!

Bike is fine and comfortable

Bike is fine and comfortable to ride. With my 217 lb. Self on mostly flat terrain I use eco mode majority of the time and sport mode occasionally. Battery life has been in the 30 - 35 mile range. Maybe will be better in warmer summer temps.

All that I hoped it would be

My Turbo Como 4.0 was delivered to and assembled by my local authorized dealer sooner than expected given current supply chain issues. This bike has been my pride and joy for the past couple of weeks. A solid bike. It gets a lot of attention from curious people. This bike is heavier than normal bikes so smaller people including women may find it difficult to handle. I'm a tall male and I've had to learn to manage walking with it. Looking forward to many summer rides in the coming weeks. A complete joy to ride. You won't be disappointed by purchasing the Turbo Como 4.0.

3rd Como

This is my 3rd Turbo Como 4.0 and there are some differences. Changed to a Cup saddle like my other ones, also upgraded seat post to a more adjustable one. Bike is heavier and not as comfortable as previous but with some tuning Im sure we can get there. Double the Battery Range vs previous Como's, more options in Mission Control App and love the shiny reflective paint jobs. Had some issues from Bike Shop assembly but all in all a very nice Bike with some cool upgrades. Front suspension makes a great difference. Just wish handle bars were adjustable for height, I like to sit a bit more upright.

Ordered bike for my wife

Ordered bike for my wife who needs a deep step theu. However I’m at 62 lbs it is too heavy for her to handle. I rode the bike and it’s very powerful and quiet. However will be returning it and purchase a lighter weight bike.

Making the best, better!

had a nice write up but exceed number of keystrokes allowed. Short version. I own 5 Como's, 1 Vado. and now a Turbo Como 4.0 Overall great bike and with some very good up grades. Worth it! 3 down grades; the new seat uncomfortable toss it and spent $50 on a Cup seat, and the handle bars(not a beach classic cruiser design) and the weight very heavy. overall a great bike.
