These electric cruisers prioritize comfort and ease of use. The Como SL also has fenders to keep you clean and dry, plus a front basket to help transport gear, groceries, or Fido. The speed limit at which the motor will stop supporting may vary significantly by region and is based on local requirements. It may also affect range: a higher speed limit may result in less range.

Responding to "nice ride but not reliable" in 03/05/2024

Hmmm are we riding the same bike? The light cable in no way hinders steering. There IS a fender assembly rack on the back and it is set up for panniers. It's not at all difficult to accessorize. I put my phone holder on with no problem. The bike is great. It's a 2021/22 which is why it's half off. I had the shop put in Tannus liners because in my town we have a lot of goat heads and thus lots of flats. The bike is so nice that you can ride it without the motor just fine. Then, you hit the boost and voila! No headwind! You hear yourself laughing maniacally because you've spent 20 years fighting that $@*& headwind. Ride for an hour and barely use 15% of the battery (once you've done a few rides and it figures you out). This is a smooth, awesome bike. It's like a regular bike but faster.

I purchased this bike from Bicycle Record Inc in Quebec City almost a month ago and have 300 kilometers on it so far. I can't thank the dealer enough as I have had no trouble with the bicycle and that didn't happen with my previous purchase at another location. This bicycle has me grinning every time I take it out.

Nice ride but not reliable.

We have two of the Como 5 speed EV step through bikes which we purchased 2 years ago and love the ride. Unfortunately the bikes are not reliable. First they come with a paper thin walled touring tire that are prone to flats. Second the headlight cable tends to limit the turning radius in both bikes. They have been in the shop twice for this. One bike was in the shop for a gear shifting adjustment after it was in the shop to remedy the headlight issue mentioned above. The bikes are difficult to accessorize. The frame and handlebars are not of conventional dimensions. It would have been nice if the rear fender frame assembly had a rack or was made to receive one.

Game changer!! I’m 60, active

Game changer!! I’m 60, active with gym and some yoga. Test drove this bike and never looked back……nothing but the good parts of riding a bike. Zero hesitation regarding where we can go based on stamina with the ability to dial the workout up or down accordingly. Opens up a whole new host of options for adventures!!
