The all-new Levo delivers the unbelievable power to ride more trails through an unequaled combination of ride quality, usable power, and ride anywhere range. It’s the distillation, application, and amplification of a 40-year obsession with creating the world’s best riding mountain bikes. Since its introduction, Levo has set the bar every other e-MTB aims for, and the new Levo raises that bar again.

It starts with our Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and MasterMind Turbo Control Unit (TCU), which provide Levo with a smooth and seamless amplification of your efforts—4x you power that lets you choose where to ride, and when you want to do it. Levo also shatters limitations when it comes to range, amplifying your effort for up to five hours of trail time. Now you can ride farther, and explore more, than ever before. And the optimized chassis boasts 150mm of custom-tuned rear suspension and adjustable geometry that delivers a stable and natural ride like no other. Because at the end of the day, it’s the ride that matters. Believe it.

Here’s where the gloves come off—the Levo Expert brings it with SRAM’s robust X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, dialed-in FOX Performance Elite suspension, and a high-performing Roval Traverse wheelset.

  • Levo’s fully integrated Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor, 700Wh battery, and advanced MasterMind Turbo Control Unit deliver category-leading 90 Nm of torque and 565 watts of power for up to five hours of ride time, empowering you to ride farther and faster than ever before.
  • The MasterMind Turbo Control Unit is your information hub with customizable display fields, including the exact percentage of battery level, and it features our all-new MicroTune function to adjust power delivery in 10% increments, so you get exactly the support you need to experience precisely the ride you want.
  • A dedicated mixed-wheel size design with a 27.5” wheel in the back and 29” up front delivers a nimble ride that carves circles around other full-power e-MTBs. A generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack headtube angle and reduced fork offset keep things stable in the rough.
  • Levo offers six distinct geometry settings, allowing you to easily dial-in its performance for any riding style andany terrain. Head tube angle can be adjusted between 63- and 65.5-degrees. Bottom bracket height can be fine-tuned up or down by 7mm.
  • Levo’s 150mm of rear travel is supple on small bumps, devours square-edged hits without a twitch, eats massive G-outs for breakfast, yet still offers amazing pedal response and delivers your power to the ground with total efficiency.
  • The Levo’s S-Sizing is based on what matters—rider size and style, not inseam. Six sizes, all with similar headtube lengths and standover, allow you to choose the size that best suits your individual style. Smaller S-Size numbers are going to be nimble and more flickable, while bigger S-Sizes deliver more stability and a roomier ride.

Simply amazing.

This thing is so amazing I’m not sure where to start. So let’s start with descending. This bike simply flys down hills. The geo and suspension are spot on!! Bumps, chunks and vibrations just don’t exist in the same way as on an acoustic bike. This thing is so smooth and stealthy it’s amazing. Now the e-bike stuff, the motor and battery give you miles of smiles range. The power plant creates an amazing amount of torque and power to charge up the most gnarly climbs you can imagine. I’ve been doing twice the miles, climbs and downhills on this beast than on my acoustic bike and am having so much more fun it’s ridiculous. Now the components, they are first class. Not the top of the line mind you, but they are super solid and do their jobs very well and a perfect for the price point of this rig. Overall this thing isn’t cheap but it’s so worth it. I did my research for many months and after a ton of research I purchased the Turbo Levo Expert and I couldn’t be happier!!

The most fun bike I've ever owned

Hands down my favorite bike right now! A do-it-all type of bike and a do-it-fast one as well. Only wish the top assistance speed was higher, I find myself wanting more when in the flat and false flats. 45km/hr like the Tero X would make this bike unimprovable as far as I'm concerned.

Making the Impossible Possible

The bike is great. It would be hard to be any happier with it. I have had it a couple of weeks and have around 75 miles on it. The best word I can use to describe the bike is smooth. The powertrain is smooth. The motor is smooth. The suspension is smooth. I have been mostly on asphalt waiting for trails to dry. I will continue to use it an asphalt as well as trails. It is awesome running around town. I blew out my knee a few years ago and have been looking for help getting it as strong as I can. This bike gives me the confidence to go as far as I want and push as hard as I want because it will help get me home when it is time. I climb hills at a crazy pace. It doesn't mean I don't push myself. I monitor bike and rider output to modulate the bike to help just enough as I learn how it behaves. I am looking forward to years of riding this beast. There is so much more that can be said.......Very happy with it.

More Fun than the Law Allows!

How many characters is one allowed for this review? I'm so stoked with my Turbo Levo Expert that it's hard to describe the joy and smiles I get from each ride. Before making my purchase, I read reviews and watched YT videos on each brand name bike for over a year. I narrowed my choices down to four (4) brands but kept coming back to Specialized. The integraton, build, components, battery life, torque, etc. were what sold me on Specialized. Naysayers tried to steer me away due to issues with the 2.0 motor. However, for every review I read, Specialized came through with its customer service. So far, the 2.2 motor hasn't been an issue at all. And if it did, I'm sure Specialized would take care of me. This bike has me so stoked, I'm having thoughts about purchasing either the Turbo Levo Pro or S-Works Turbo Levo! If you're sitting on the fence about purchasing an e-mtb, you won't go wrong with Specialized!

Shockingly fun

These bikes are outrageously fun. Super smooth application of pedal assist and they just fly uphills. The "Levo Grin" is a real thing and you can't wipe it off your face for hours after going for a rip. 10/10.

First eBike. I'm 62, and thought about giving up mtbing. Struggled with climbs. Not anymore. This thing is a riot. The app integration is just amazing. Dialing in the motor to just provide enough assist allows for plenty of exercise without blowing up. I'm hooked.

What a great rig!

This is my third emtb and what a difference this bike makes. My last bike was a Bulls AM4 which is a capable bike bike but the Expert outshines it in so many ways. It is so much better up technical trails, it is so scary good I am climbing uphills I struggled with on the Bulls. And downhill Yew! This bike rocks, it rolls over roots and rock gardens with the mullet setup so smoothly. But I think I am most impressed with how it jumps. I’m not the best skypilot out there but I love how this feels in the air, it does not feel like a 50 lb bike, could be the suspension setup but at any rate I feel like I am 40 years younger. As a side note the Mission Control is so cool, tracks all sorts of metrics but the jump count and time in air makes you ride the line over and over. My riding buddy has been saying this is the bike for me and boy was he right!

3rd Turbo Levo!

HI recently had a opportunity to upgrade to the Expert from the TL Comp Carbon. What a beautiful bike! Frame looks great in black /grey. Gen 3 is a big evolution. The big difference for the Expert is the quality of the suspension. The Fox performance front and rear is definitely worth the extra cost and its a huge upgrade from a Rhythm (the cost to go to Expert is less than cost of the fork upgrade alone!). The upgrade to X01 on the gears is only slightly noticeable from the very good GX. Upgraded the cockpit as usual with One Up carbon bars and pedals and an Ergon seat. Upgraded the brake rotors to Sram HS2 discs which are slightly thicker and the feel is much, much better along with Galpher E bike specific brake pads. Never liked the stock Codes. Stock tires are surprisingly good. The new Mission Control has great data and now records jumps (air time, distance and quantity). Do yourself a favour and splash out on the Spesh Turbo Levo Expert, you will love it!

Fourth Turbo Levo

Of Course this bike is the Best one so far!...I love the Mullet set up, It rocks on the knarl and handles through the tight trails, it also easier to climb and descends those tight switchbacks easier than 29er set up! You also have many options in your power settings, you can set the power equivilent to your Analog buddies or set the power if you're riding with your E buddies!....Ride More Trails!!!

The perfect emtb

Great e-mtb Following two years on the Turbo Levo model, I moved to the 2022 Expert. Done 2,500 km in recent 3 months, riding 4-5 times per week. No tech issues whatsoever. The rear 27.5 wheel greatly improved bike manoeuvrability, DH speed stability and confidence. Very comfortable riding position, excellent for long XC rides (up to 120 km range). The new digital control panel on the top tube is highly useful and user friendly. The Brose 2.2 motor is strong and utterly quiet. Weaknesses: I threw away was the SRAM Code breakers, installed the Shimano Saint m820 instead, they are way better. The charging port outer plastic cover is flimsy and can easily break. Overall love this bike 👌

Total game changer. Perfect battery

Total game changer. Perfect battery size for the longer rides. Great feel on both climbs and DH. Really appreciate the tune ability of the Mission Control App. Above all I love how quiet the motor is on the climbs. Only con is the 200mm rear rotor. Mine turned purple after the 2nd long DH. Already upgraded to a 220mm and appreciate the extra stopping power.

Gen three is better than expected

Specialized finally figured out how to make the perfect power delivery. I work as a dealer and have been checking out levos as they have been coming out. I almost pulled the trigger on an SL last year and I'm so happy I didn't. The gen three system is incredibly smooth. It is next level from older generations. The new gen got rid of ever single complaint that I had from older generations. Specialized has introduced the perfect product if your in the marked for an e-mountain thrasher. Big probs to the turbo team on this one.

Mullet Rocks!

Love the Mullet on my 22 Levo Expert: quick and agile handling and good stability at speed. This bike feels playful on the trails. The 29" front wheel rolls nicely over the roots and rocks while the wider 27.5" rear wheel finds traction and allows for a shorter chain stay (quicker cornering). The Fox Elite suspension keeps the things under control and feels plush on the little chop and plenty of adjustability (I run lower than Fox recommended pressures). The Brose 2.2 motor is powerful (especially at lower pedal cadence) and easily tunable with the Mission Control app. I have over 100 miles on the bike so far and no rattles or noises and the motor is quiet. The SRAM drivetrain shifts smoothly though sounds a bit crunchy when shifting under power (common on e-bikes). So far the only thing I can complain about on this bike is the $11,000 MSRP but since it works so well somehow that is starting to feel a bit more reasonable!

Second Levo

Upgraded from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3. I did not expect much difference, but I was really surprised how much better it is. The Fox suspension is great. I upgraded with TRP brakes (I can't stand the mushy SRAM brakes), Fox Transfer 200mm seat post, and Cushcore. My analog bike turned into a dust collector.

Third Levo

I have just changed from a Levo SL to the new Levo. I also had the Gen 1 Levo. I personally found the SL to be too heavy and underpowered and also noisy. The new levo is so much better in how it rides, it is quieter, smoother and feels just as nimble as the SL did. It requires a bit more muscle on the trail but for me it is perfect for how I ride. Very happy

Technological Masterpiece!

This is my first e-bike. I've been riding a Niner Air 9 hard tail for the last several years. I can't believe what a great riding mountain bike the Turbo Levi Expert is. No compromises. I have the S2 and it is incredibly nimble. Previously, I would avoid certain steep technical trails but not on the Levo. It will go anywhere, no fear. I have such a renewed sense of freedom while riding it. The power levels are seamless and so adaptable. I can ride most green and blue flowing trails in Eco mode and ride for over 60 miles. It takes on the toughest technical trails with gusto. Once I'm on it I feel like I can ride for hours on end. The price for admission is pretty steep but the bike is somewhat future proof with over the air updates and adjustable geometry. My only negative is the included dropper seatpost. It's cheap and not really up to the specs of the rest of the bike. But otherwise an awesome machine. Get one, you won't regret it.

Expensive but worth it

Picked the bike up at Incycle San Dimas yesterday. Charged it up overnight. Rode Bonelli Park trails this afternoon. Its incredible. I was a bit worried that it was too pretty to ride. Hand laid Carbon fiber frame covered with clear coat looks incredible, even after I covered it with dirt .Everything is precise. Incredible Climbing Power. The suspension seems great, but I didn't do any big hits today. Looking forward to taking it to Big Bear !
